Very fun lectures. One of the few college courses I actually enjoyed going to. Griffith makes history come alive and adds humor. Entertaining storyteller. Go for the lectures, take notes and you'll pass the class. If I needed another social science credit, I'd take another course from Griffith.

Greatest Professor I have ever had for any class. He is quite humorous, which motivates many students to attend classes which they would normally skip. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a history class to take their class with Mr. Griffith. If you study for the tests you will do fine and have great semester in his class!

Mr. Griffith is without question, the greatest man I have ever known. He knows what he's talking about and he doesn't mess around. He is opinionated and tells us what we NEED to hear, not what the state WANTS us to hear.

GREATEST TEACHER ON CAMPUS. He is entertaining, smart, and hilarious. It will be a mistake for you NOT to take his classes. They may be hard but it is definitely worth it. Knows the importance of teaching, yet still keeps students interested. I love his stories.

Fantastic teacher, absolutely knows his material. You should always ask questions about the material and participate in discussions. DON"T DROP! If you write down everything he says during class, even what seems humorous, study these notes, and comprehend the Constitution, you will probably pass with a good grade. Dr. Griffith has the potential to be a fantastic instructor! However, I felt as though his personal political views prevented him from teaching us..history. His tests are really hard, so study, ask questions and you'll be ok. Take notes! Also, be prepared for lengthy discussions as to why healthcare reform is bad...

Most Hilarious man I have ever met. His Take home tests suck so bad. They are so hard and really long, so don't wait till the last minute. I thought about dropping the class at one point when i was not doing so hot, but his lectures make staying in there so worth it. I loved him!

Wendel Griffith is the instructor for you if you prefer a professor who flaunts their tenure as an excuse for a pis poor performance in the classroom. Take homes take around 8 hours to complete. Undoubtedly the man is a genius; but as an instructor I do not feel like he wishes for his students to succeed.

I changed my major to History thanks to this gentleman. This man is extremely witty and you will learn more from his lectures than you ever will from a text book. He genuinely enjoys what he does. I don't think the tests are unreasonable as long as you take detailed notes. That is the key to getting an "A" in his classes.
