Comment:

She is a great math teacher! This is the best I've ever done in math and I actually understand it. If no one participates she will give pop "quizzes" but those turn into extra credit towards your final grade. The hw on ALEKS sometimes is very overbearing and lengthy. But she is always there to help you out and answer any questions you have

Great professor but she will make you work for the grade. If you want to study at the end of the semester for the final YOU WILL NOT PASS THE CLASS. You need will use some Excel functions in the class so pay attention. I would take her again though because her office hours were always available.

Honestly she good with her teaching it was just that her class got really boring. She is really nice and will help you out and during class if you have any questions. There is a WebAssign assignment after every class and you can get an A on her exams as long as you study the review. She just uses harder numbers in her exams.

Professor Sethi is kind but doesn't really teach. She goes through problems quick without explanation and her class is boring. I feel really lucky I took calculus in high school because I found myself not understanding easy concepts she taught. I also skipped at least 5 classes and only enjoyed class towards the end because of the friends I made.

the incorporation of ALEKS was literally the downfall of every single student in the room, yet we were expected to do around 100+ "Objective" questions + homework A WEEK. Nothing was simply explained and if you fall behind you're screwed. Would not recommend.

Sethi is a great professor. She cares a lot about her students, and she wants everyone to do well. There is a ton of homework, but at least with her, you can understand and do well in the class. Tip: go to tutoring, they help a lot. The class requires time and effort, but Sethi is also always available if you need help!

This professor was one of the hardest math teachers I have ever dealt with. She teaches class at a fast pace which makes it hard to write down notes. She gave study guides to study for tests, but the questions were completely more complicated than the study guide and she threw in other questions that were not in the study guide. I would avoid her.

Overall a good professor. She is a little slow. Classes are lectures for the entire time. Lots of homework, mainly online. She gives about 3 tests, no quizzes. Tests are hard. She gives review guides but likes to throw in other questions not on the review so just study all your notes for those sections.

She should not be teaching math at a college level. She knows her stuff but good luck doing the work her way. It doesn't make sense and her lectures are dull and boring. Smart lady, but not a good teacher at all. Math just doesn't make sense in her class sometimes.

If you are looking for an easy A, this is not the class for you. Dr. Sethi's lectures are boring and the homework is much easier than what is seen on test day. Concepts are not taught the right way and students are often found teaching themselves after the class.

Professor Sethi assigns waaaaaaay too much homework and quizzes. Get ready to learn on your own because what she teaches in class is never the homework and the tests are even harder. Final is easy because it is a departmental final and is all stuff she barely talked about.

Very caring professor overall; willing to help, answer questions, and give opportunities for extra credit. Lectures can be very dry and dull, and there is a significant amount of WebAssign homework. She will, however, teach to the test and help prepare students for all tests and the final.

She's a great professor, the course itself is challenging and there's a lot of work, but she's honestly a great professor. She's VERY understanding and helpful! I would definitely take her class again! Yes the test are tough, but its not her fault. You really have to pay attention and know what you're talking about. She does everything she can!

I really do not know why Professor Sethi has such low ratings. She is super helpful and really cares about her students. Math is math. Stats really isn't that bad. Just pay attention, do the homework and ask her for help and you are completely fine. She wants to see her students succeed. She is also a really nice person to talk to outside of class

The class wasn't that hard, you just need to be able to do all the assignments in a timely manner and not skip class. There were a few concepts I was having problems with and she was more than willing to help me. Many kids were complaining that they were learning nothing and failing but they also spent the whole class watching wshh videos.

She teaches off of the core syllabus, but decides to emphasize certain things. She teaches something in class and the homework online has little to nothing to do with the class notes. Her excuse is that we should be following in the textbook. When reviewing for the final exam, she states the things she emphasized were not a big part of the final.
