I absolutely love this teacher! She gives phenomenal feedback and she cares about her students. There is a lot of reading required, but it is interesting and not boring at all. As long as you do the work, you should not have a hard time passing. She is an easy grader and she makes class enjoyable.

Took the online class. 12 short assignments on blackboard worth 10 points each (read exactly what she expects form the short assignments if not she will take a lot of points off). Assignments and feed back are not too clear. A midterm, proposal and final term paper. Harsh grader, will not take late work, or give extra credit. Expect to work hard.

This was an online class so there was lots of discussions. There were three essays, but not very long, about 3-5 pages. Sometimes she would take points off from the essays without saying why. Like if I got 145150, okay, why the 5 points off? I mean, I would like to know so I can improve my mistakes you know! Other than that, pretty good professor.

This class consisted of 1 reflection essay, multiple short stories, a midterm, and a final. I found her to be a tough grader because I would put my all into each assignment and she still deducted points. However, she's very understanding and willing to assist you with whatever questions you may have. In the end, she gave me an A for all my hardwork

I took an online class, but she was super helpful. Emailed her questions and she was very clear. Helpful with feedback on what to do better. Made everything very clear through Blackboard and it's pretty hard to fail anything unless you just don't turn it in.

I was a student in Professor Tetlow's class in the 1980s. I earned an A- and worked for it. She was an awesome teacher and inspired me to get my Masters in English. I even became a professor myself at the same college: William Paterson University. I will never forget her.

Such a great online class. She was great at responding to emails and great on letting you know what was due and at what time. It is an online class though, so you need to keep up or you will fail. I have told others to take her class and they have, and they loved it as well!

These comments scared me. Glad I didn't listen to them. I took the class online and it was a breeze. She was super helpful, friendly, gave very positive feedback. Her directions were clear and easy. Assignments and papers were spread out so there was plenty of time to complete everything on time. It's nearly impossible not to ace this class.

Awful. We had to buy the book she edited so I guess she made extra money off of us. But it was a useful text. Unorganized. Unfriendly. Negative. Mean-spirited but knows speed writing so be careful what you say to her when you visit in her office.
