I absolutely loved being in this class, Wendy Kinsinger is hands down one of the best history teachers I have ever had. She makes the lectures fun and includes a lot of videos. She is understanding and flexible. If you put in the effort you will succeed in this class. The homework/quizzes are online, she has two essays and a few in-class projects

Quirky. Makes a boring topic that most people don't want to take fascinating with videos, and lectures. Believes in auditory, kinetic, and visual learning to enhance the material. Genuinely cares about students success.

I took this class in Spring 2015. Hardly ever went. Got an A. Online quizzes super easy to pass. Had to write two 7 paragraph papers, and did not have to take the final because I already had an A. Her lectures were definitely engaging. Would totally take again.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Always available via email or after class to answer your questions. Only hw is online quizzes where you can find the answers online, so it's a bunch of free points. Only 3 tests which are essays but she gives you plenty of guidance via study guides etc. Didn't even need to take the final,already earned an A

She is amazing and the best teacher I have ever had. We are assigned one or two tests a week online that are so easy and open book internet, obviously. Throughout the whole semester only 3 written exams, I got an A+ on each. She really cares about her students and will work with you for you to get a good grade. Easy class. Taking her again for 101

Best teacher I have taken at this school. Even though she is a little scattered she cares for her students. She understands that people have personal issues and works with you if you are having trouble. It sounds bad at the beginning that your test are essay based and you have to write but its honestly the best thing it helps you in your writing.

She is the worst teacher ever. She was completely unorganized, rude, and lazy. She left us with a terrible sub for five weeks and even though he made us all want to kill ourselves he was better than her. The only graded work I got back was from HIM. All she did when she got back was whine and complain and tried to make us feel sorry for her.

This professor is highly UNrecommended! She has a horrible attitude that totally takes away from any interest from learning in the class. RIDICULOUSLY unorganized!! There's about 4 weeks left of the semester and the entire class has STILL not gotten back ANY graded homework or tests. The only homework we got back was from a SUB!! WORST TEACHER EVER

I'm a music major and only took this class for GED. The only reason one would fail this class is if they didn't show up and do the assignments, otherwise it's easy to receive an A. She also offers to proof read your work before you turn it in. I thought her strengths were social movements as opposed to specifics about WWI and WWII. I enjoyed class.

This teacher is amazing even though she has problems at home she understands everyone has problems and makes it clear that if your having problems you can talk to her even though things are up in the air she takes that in concentration and grades you on the effort that you put. She has three tests and there plain and clear. shes an amazing teacher

Worst professor I've had! Her lectures are bland and confusing because she skips around so much. She's rude to students, unorganized, and takes forever to turn assignments back. For tests, you have to have exactly what she thinks the answer is and proper spelling/grammar or you will be marked down. Take another class!

Wendy is funny and also understanding. Most of the hw assignments and all of the exams are based on just writing about the subject matter. No multiple choice tests, so pay attention and read the book if you want to do well. Quizzes are online open book, not timed, and retake able, which is nice.

USE THE BOOK! Although she was a great teacher, when it comes time to do the study guides you will need more information. Best teacher I had period! Entertaining, kind, real, and knowledgable. Homework can be tough but she's fair about it. Tests are easy, especially if u study even a bit. can't wait to take the 102 class. GET THIS PROFESSOR!!!

Not a bad teacher, but she could find a better teaching method. Its hard to take notes and the essays are annoying. She is extremely set on detail so make sure you know the history.
