Class can be interesting, but the weekly quizzes are insane. I think this is the first time she is implementing them because she used to have two essays. She does drop one quiz but scores are always low and it's nerve wrecking because it is worth 20% of your grade. The quizzes are the reason some will probably not get an A.

Very smart and dedicated professor, one of the best I ever had both grad and undergrad. Not an easy class and your grade WILL reflect your effort. Tough grader but I really learned a lot from her.

Easy to work with, great professor and was not a hard class if you did your work. Professor Turgeon works very hard and is extremely helpful. I took 27 credits so far and she is the best professor I had so far. I don't know who and how people can leave negative comments, it is not her fault that some students are lazy.

This professor is impossible to please as far as participation in the online class goes. You can post literally 20 times a week (when the minimum is 3 times) with thoughtful comments, spending hours reading and responding to classmates' posts, and it still won't be enough to get the best score. If she wants 30 posts minimum she should say it!

I took this professor for an online course in philosophy for children. Even though I have never met her, she is by far the worst professor I have ever had. I have taken several online courses and been very successful in every one. I have taken philosophy courses in school, snd done very well. PROFESSOR TUREON IS THE MOST AWFUL GRADER EVER!

Prof. Turgeon is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. If you want to learn about many approaches to the philosophy of education under the guidance of a professor who knows the material like the back of her hand, then take this class.
