Wendy is one of the best professors I've ever had. For the capstone courses, she teaches with a hands off approach but intervenes in groups when appropriate. The information you learn in her classes directly applies to any internships and in the work force. She is willing to help every student on both an academic and personal level.

Great teacher. She really prepares her students for the real world and not just on how to take a college class. No nonsense attitude...she has very adult expectations of her students. 2 group power point presentations and 1 solo -- can be hit or miss but a great learning experience. The tests are HARD - Read her PowerPoints! Every word of them!

Great teacher but a lottttttt of work. If you want to do more writing than an english class take her she makes you do these dumb debates and presentations. I never thought I would have to do this much writing in a computer intro class. In all if you do the work you can get good grades.

Grade-A professor. This course (Intro to IST) gets a lot of crap for being business-oriented, but it's probably one of the most relevant courses in the CIS department. HW and tests are all easy if you pay a lick of attention and read the material, and she's always willing to help if you take the time to ask. High recommendation!

She is the best prof I've ever had. Very helpful, you'll get an A if you do all your work and listen in class. The questions on tests comes directly from what she talks about in class. The guest speaker are very helpful for the future and in obtaining information about different careers within in IT. I would recommend her 100%. Very nice professor.

Wendy is a pretty awesome teacher. She makes herself clear on what she wants. She posts what is due on Blackboard for easy access. The speakers were helpful in the exploration of different fields. The tests will come easy to you if you ACTUALLY study - they are written in plain english. Wendy also has great communication skills - sending emails etc

She is a very nice teacher, but the class is taken more seriously than it should be. The speakers are great and informative. The textbook is too businessy. Not to mention the work load for the class. Had to drop one of my classes to keep up with the workload for this class since it is an important class to take for my major. Find another professor.

Good class but she gives out a lot of little very time consuming assignments. The tests are 50-60 short answer questions worth 1 point, You barely have time to read them much less answer them thoughtfully. The speakers she has are great and make the class flow.

She was a nice teacher. However she did give out a lot of work and I was left with no time for my other mandatory difficult classes. There was always something due. Quizes were fairly easy.
