I had been interested in the subject and she ruined it. She really wants you to like her but if you come to her with something specific, it's like she doesn't understand what you are trying to get it. I would avoid her, because if you are interested in anything she teaches on, you could read about it yourself and get more out of it.

Prior to taking the class, I was very interested in the subject matter. I felt there were interesting ways the course could be taken. However, after finishing the course I was disappointed by it. I felt the class was disorganized with no structure. Class discussion was poor, but the readings were amazing! I felt she was self obsesse with her own re

This professor has an infectious enthusiasm, engaging and supportive of her students. On the other hand, she has no business in the classroom. She was an anthropologist teaching history and seemed unfamiliar with the canons of evidence, logic and critical thinking, and promoted nonsensical postmodernism (e.g., no reality or objective truth).

I was not interested at all in anthropology prior to her class. However, her enthusiasm and outgoing attitude kept me going and motivated me to keep up with the readings. Her quizzes are easy, pay attention the factual things and you'll be fine. Her papers were fair and quite fun to write! if you are interested in anthropology, take her class!

Wendy has recently discovered a political perspective that is 30 years old in other disciplines. She provides scattered chatter with the belief that they are cutting edge ideas. Her intelligence is low and she rewards her favourite students highly while ignoring and grading others lowly.

Wendy is ethusiatic about her subject. The class was abit boring. The paper is HARD, but she will give you a lot of help and will edit parts of it for you. The quizzes are ridiculous and hard to get a good mark on.

There is no clear idea about what the course is about, she talks about the same thing every class. Also, she has a clear bias about the readings and subject matter whcih doesn't allow for independent thought.

Learned a lot from this seminar course.I agree with the positive and negative comments left by other students. She is enthusiastic and different, but she also is not overly academic in the traditional sense and seems to favor some students (maybe I was one of them) She also has a clear bias (as do many profs)reflected by her choice of readings.

Wickwire is helpful and provides a great environment for intellectual stimulation. A little unorganized, but that is part of her charm. She is pretty easy on the marks, and you will learn a little while your at it. Good deal.

She provided no direction and then penalized us for not doing what she wanted. She doted over some students and ignored others. She was good at latching onto other people's good ideas but had none of her own. Overall, totally disorganized and a dim intellect.
