Comment:

Incredibly kind man, BUT his Web Analytics class this year was not what I expected from what I heard about him. He is a real prof, which is nice to have in a major where there are a lot of lazy ones. This class was terribly unorganized. The group proj. is worth 50% of the grade, but my group of fairly intelligent people was confused half the time.

Amazing, and helpful professor. It's because of him that I didn't switch out of the Digital Media Major. Thankful that he is around to be a real professor. Teaches hard material, that is graduate level. Well worth the time.

Media Ethics wasn't too bad, but there was a lot of reading to go through and the class felt unorganized. Media Law is hard--lots of reading and rough assignments. Dr. Baker is a good teacher who is more than willing to help you work through any questions you have. He does have high expectations of his students. Hard to reach outside of class

Dr. Baker is great! His class is really easy as long as you keep up with the homework, which really isn't that bad, coming from a major procrastinator. He explains everything very well and is always willing to help as much as he needs to. He does have a very busy schedule and is hard to reach sometimes, but he's super nice and helpful.

Extremely difficult class. He teaches as though we are his equal and know what he is talking about, even though we have no clue. That being said, when I needed help he was more than willing to bend over backwards to help me. Signing up for meeting times is the best way to get in contact with him. Extremely nice guy.

i didnt feel that he knew a whole lot about what he was trying to teach. he just seemed to say things that contradicted himself from time to time. he was very hard to get ahold of as well. overall not a good professor, but a good guy. he was pleasant to talk to outside of the classroom setting.

classic case of someone who needs confirmed authority. he would go back on what he said in previous classes and would contradict himself from one class to the next. would often just sit there and laugh at assignments handed to him...not helpful at all! horrible professor.

Dr. Baker obviously knows a ton about media law. His ability to share that knowledge is severely lacking. Was literally unreachable by e-mail, phone, or other means. He would open his e-mail in class and it would show that he had 900+ unanswered student e-mails. This class is mandatory, and it was virtually unbearable.

when i was in school, he made me dread going to class and we had some issues with one another. i thought he was way too hard and i think he thought i was just there for the credits. but he taught me more than any other teacher ever has and ever will and i am using it everyday thanks to him.
