Mr. Wil is the GOAT. Took his last Environmental Issues class taught at KVCC, there's no other professor like him. I learned a lot from his unique teaching style. May I also add that he made it simple for the students to gain knowledge in a complex subject like biology. I wish him the best and a good rest of his life full of wonderful memories!

This class is very easy. Just keep up on the readings, and you'll do great. Assignments are graded on completion, not content. The camping trip you take is pretty fun too.

Wil is always enthusiastic about the material and encourages class participation. Though there is a lot of reading, it's all relatively interesting. There is also mandatory camping trip, but it was well worth losing my weekend. If you have any interest in the environment and its conservation, take this class. Easily my favorite teacher.

He's one of the best professors I had a WMU. I took this class for 3 hours once a week and thought I was going to hate it because it was just for a gen ed. It was awesome. He's an awesome guy and made the class go by so fast. The class isn't hard by any means but really makes you reflect about your habits and the future of our earth. RECOMMEND!

This was a great class. Mr. Wil is so easy to talk to and a joy to be around. The class had no test and the homework took 20 minutes but was meaningful. I'm an environmental science major so I just really interested in the material. Others might not think so 10/10 would recommend

Mr. Wil is the type that values actual learning and not just shoving a bunch of information down your throat to throw a final at you later. The lab was always my favorite part of this class. Can't pick enough adjectives to describe how great this class was and how inspirational Mr. Wil is. You will never forget a class with him.

I took Mr. Wil's class as an extra class because I wanted to see if I was really interested in the subject. He was truly the type that values actual learning and not just shoving a bunch of information down your throat to throw a final at you later. Amazing teacher who loves hands-on work; the lab was always my favorite part of this class.

Mr. Wil is an inspiration. He cares about his students and genuinely about what he teaches. You will take away more from this class than credit, and that is why Mr. Wil still continues to teach! Be prepared to go on nature walks and make friends with your classmates! As it is a time consuming class, though well worth it!

Best professor I've ever had. He cares about what his students are taking from his class envs major or not. He has a true passion for what he does and it rubs of on every individual he interacts with. You can really see the impact he has on people during the camping trip. Terrific person and professor. im actively looking for another of his classes

While I was a little scared to go camping, it is now one of my favorite memories and I'm still friends with many of my classmates from Wil's class. The best class I have ever taken!

I took Ecology and Field Bio with him at KVCC and he is my favorite teacher I've had! you have to go to class if you miss classes he will take points away but he does everything in his power to help you get the best grade possible. you have to drive out to the nature center for 6 labs which takes gas money but its hands on experience

I had Mr. Wil for envs in spring of 2012. He may be a bit of a tree huger but you learn useful things and the class is easy. You don't need to buy a text book for the class but you are suppose to read a couple ten dollar books on nature, growing your own food and etc. The hardest thing I thought was having to go to the nature center.

He is a very interesting professor and makes his class fun. He expects a lot from his students when it comes to outings so two things; first don't miss them and second pay attention. His test are fairly simple so don't worry too much.

He is an awesome professor. He makes the class fun and interesting. Minimal work. Take-home midterm and final. Takes attendance randomly. Do not need to buy the book, because they only cover class discussions and he will give all the information you need to know. However if you do buy them, they are really cheap. They are only about $10 per book.

Everyone should take this class. Mr. Reding is funny, interesting, and knows his stuff. I got an A in the class by just showing up and paying attention during the lectures (which sometimes take place outside). Homework was very simple.
