nice guy, but made a stupid core class way more work than it should have been. quizzes every friday, tests aren't really hard but again, more work than i'd like to put into a core class. also, if you would rather not focus on the music part of aesthetics dont take 105 with him.

Great teacher. Tests and quizes always have extra credit. Just go to the study session and you'll do fine. If you ever need help he always has, or makes, the time to assist students. Very knowledgeable.

Great guy and a great professor. Music classes can get difficult to take in although he really makes it interesting and has endless depths of knowledge on the matter beyond what he touches on. One of my favorite professors at RWU. Failed the first class I took with him, so he can be difficult if u dont stay with him,however really enjoyed his teach

the best teacher i ever had, he inspired me to get serious not just about music, but for life in general. if you ever get the chance to take a class with him, do. he'll make you work but its worth it because you'll come out a better human being for it. he knows so much about life and music that you feel the need to suck every bit of information outof him

Ayton is a nice guy. Very hard teacher. Quizzes are given atleast once a wk, sometimes more, and they are impossible to pass. Ended up with a B- after I retook all the quizzes and tests. I did well in all of my other music classes, except this one, so it must tell you its the teacher.
