Took Actuarial course in 1977. Also had Dr. Amadio in 1976 for Decision Sciences courses. He was very young (with jet black hair) and a Dr. but was brilliant then too. He didn't waste time. He always gave great examples (ex:) on the board. He was my best Professor ever including all schooling. There was no doubt he would publish many papers.

He is a great professor, but the subject is not. You will suffer by using MIT discrete structures that you will not able to find answers on google. It is a great lecture, and you will learn many things that are very useful for your future course works in CS major. I am more than happy to see freshmen next year suffering from figuring out the answer

Dr. Amadio is very knowledgeable on the topics discussed in class, and he is very willing to meet after class for extra help. There are only 2 exams (the midterm and final) but the class isnt that bad. The first half of the semester is much easier than the first.

Most amazing, accommodating professor there is at Rider. He cares so much about each student. No final, no midterm. Grade is compromised of weekly quizzes, if you go to class you will do fine. Curves if the grades are bad at the end. Drops 3 lowest quizzes. He is adorable and such a caring person. If you get the chance, take him!!!!!

Amadio can be dry at times but he is extremely helpful and will always give you a decent grade if you show him you are willing to try, which knowing him you will earn all by yourself after going to his office hours which he advertises tirelessly.

Amadio is a great guy. He is willing to talk about things and inspires you into different avenues. Overall I had a great experience with him. When I was in his BHP, he was paired with Quirk. The greatest pairing in BHP I've ever seen. Amadio is technical while Quirk is philosophical. But you have to join the discussions otherwise you will be bored.

Dr. Amadio was possibly my favorite professor all semester. He is very real and he is extremely sincere. I had him as one of my two professors for my BHP class and he rocked out with his ideas and gave a great perspective on everything. I have him next semester, so I am even more excited.

Dr Amadio loves group projects. I'm not a fan of them but I enjoyed it this time. It's obvious that he loves to teach, whether you get it or not. But he does avail himself to you and seems like a sincerely, nice guy. Just wish some of the lectures were "over our heads". You can tell he's very intelligent. Cool guy.

What a genuinely great professor. Truly cares and has a passion to learn and teach. Very rare to find a teacher who strives to always learn more and more no matter how many years they teach. Teacher with a big heart... rather that than any other quality.
