The course itself isn't bad and not too hard either. However, this awful teacher makes everything harder. He does not prepare his lectures or his presentations. His homeworks are full of mistakes which will make you loose a lot of time. He does not seem to care about the students either. The only answer you will get from him is : "Sorry about that"

His immense research on the topic of rocket engines means that his lectures are quite informative and insightful. He does sometimes have trouble being clear about certain concepts, but if you ask him to explain better he does try harder to explain them.

One of the best profs at purdue. A challenging course, but Anderson was very helpful . I don't know why people are saying his power points are hard to follow... maybe you're just a dumb ass.

Anderson doesn't seem to spend any effort preparing for this course. Lecture slides are full of errors and not necessarily helpful. There is a large disconnect between the information presented in class and the knowledge necessary to complete assignments. He doesn't do example problems either. I wouldn't take another course from this professor.

The whole class was frustrating: his slides were filled with errors, and he never seemed prepared for class. He usually dodged students' questions regarding homework, only to e-mail us the day after because his assignment was missing some crucial piece in order to complete it. He didn't respect the class and gave confusing and rambling lectures.

Nice guy who delivered enthusiastic, but totally disjoint lectures. He was difficult to follow on the chalkboard, and his lecture slides were riddled with errors. Exam questions were of average difficulty, but were sometimes poorly worded. I don't think he put much effort into preparing for this course.
