Great professor tries to make lectures less dull any way possible. Shows movies a lot in once/week classes. GIVES YOU THE ESSAY QUESTIONS BEFOREHAND THAT WILL BE ON THE MIDTERM/FINAL. Tests are super fair and easy if you adequately prepare beforehand.

Great guy. Very interesting and helpful. Took a series of classes with him. Prompt and profession. Tough but fair with grading. Held students to a higher standard and helped them get there.

Interesting class with a guy who really loves the Cold War (and foreign affairs). Movies were shown each week with a lecture that followed the next class day (and maybe a quiz). Read the books he assigns. Gives one term paper mid-semester on a personalized topic. Lectures were fun and he knew mass amount of information.

I really enjoyed having him as a professor. I thought this was a relatively easy class even if you are not into history. He was funny and nerdy. 2 book reports, 2 tests, and weekly quizes which were easy. there was a lot of reading but if you can manage it then you will get a good grade

Basically, if you are a history major, u should take his class. If you are not and just need it to graduate, DONT TAKE HIS CLASS. this guy doesn't realize that not everyone is a history major and that as you get into your own major (ex, music), you will forget a lot of this stuff. Basically, just recommended for a History major.

Hes an amazing teacher. Very funny guy. He is always making history fun by putting his spin on things. Really knows his stuff too. Grades pretty fair but doesnt like grammatical errors. Overall an awesome class!!

I hated this class. Hes a pretty nice guy but I don't like his teaching style. All you do is take notes the whole time. His quizzes are ridiculous and his midterm and final take way too much preparation. He gives out too much work and never gives it back on time.

This professor is absolutely ridiculous! His quizzes are difficult and there is a lot of reading, but also he does not teach the class effectively. The only fact I remember him spitting out was that JFK was a drug addict. He really is a horrible teacher. I get sick to my stomach thinking what the rest of the semester will look like.

This class is for the History senior seminar, and it is a tough class. You have to write a 30 page paper, but thats to be expected for history majors. He is very helpful, and very knowledgeable. He also gives you pretty much total freedom in the class, so you can do your research on almost any topic. If you're taking the senior seminar, take him.

He is the worst teacher I have ever come across!! I am an A student. I had to drop his class because the best I was going to be able to do is get a C. He has you read ridiculously long chapters and then his quizzes have nothing to do with them! Horrible, horrible teacher! Stay as far away as you can.
