Comment:
Bauldry is a generally nice man, but horrible teacher. His lectures are are nearly impossible to follow. The subject is challenging and his style of teaching does not make it any easier. You are expected to learn most of the material outside of class. Majority of the class did not know what would be on an exam until he passed them out.

He doesn't teach very well but he does know what he's talking about. Material is hard and he doesn't explain everything well. He goes off on a lot of tangents and loves to use Maple instead of showing you how to do it by hand like you have to do on the tests. 2 tests, a final, and 2 group projects make up most of your grade.

Dr. Bauldry is very smart. I had him for Calc 2 and he was overall a great professor. The way he explained some things in class made some concepts confusing, but if you went to his office hours, he'll explain anything and take as much time as you want. He's a pretty easy grader too, lots of partial credit.

Dr. Bauldry is passionate about math and it really shows in his teaching style. He lets you use notes on tests and there is not much mandatory homework. However, in order to do good on the test it will benefit you to do the optional homework. His tests are just questions from the homework mainly. Study for a little bit and you'll do fine.

I wont lie, I really disliked Dr. Bauldry at the beginning of the semester last year; however, once you get to know his personality he is a great professor. If you get things done early and go ask him to look at them he will tell you what you need to fix. Do the suggested hw and ask for help. He adjusts grades to your benefit.

I loved Dr. Bauldry. He's the kind of teacher that requires you to meet him half way. In order to get a good grade, you must work outside of class to understand material. I think that's his approach to getting students to really learn the subject. You can't learn unless you figure it out (at least some of it) by yourself.

Dr. Bauldry is one of those, so smart everything seems easy. His mannerisms get annoying quickly. Also, he made concepts from high school calc that i loved confusing. He bumped me from a B to A- for my overall grade, but if you have not prior calc knowledge, go to math lab or avoid him all together.

*note For easiness, no matter who you have Calculus II will be hard, but it's not so bad with Bauldry.* He's a funny guy who jokes around a lot and really makes Calc II anything but stressful. He's very willing to help and explains his points clearly. If you have him as a choice for Calculus II, take him!

I took Calc 2 last year but did't score high enough on the AP test to skip it. I thought I would understand the problems in class, but then I'd go home and would not be able to do the homework. His examples were insanely difficult and he skipped steps when he taught. Not an easy A. Make sure you do all homework and and ask questions.

This class is basically BC Calculus. I took it 2 years ago, with an A but still struggle at times to completely understand the material. He often teaches through examples rather than complete explanation of a theorem, and this can be slightly confusing. He does take time every day for questions, and this is very helpful. Attend class!(expect quirks

Teaches from powerpoints, he puts online. Had to teach myself. Attendance not mandatory, but may give extra credit when attendance is low. Tests and quizzes are hard, the projects saved my grade. I struggled in this class, but managed an A. I think he lowers the grading scale at the end of the semester based on the class average.

He is a hard professor. He teaches of of slides and what he teaches is usually not on the test. He is a nice guy and he might give extra credit. I would not take him again for any math class.

If you can learn by being taught one question per class period, which will never show up on an exam, this is the class for you. It seems impossible to learn math in Greer, with 300+ students.

Terrible. That's all. He's an entertainer, and teaches straight from a Powerpoint. I have all A's and a B, and in his class I have a 63%. Don't expect help in the smaller meetings either, they don't know what they're talking about.

This class is nearly impossible to do well in. Terrible at explaining material and gives incredibly unfair and difficult tests/quizzes. He presents problems in class but only does them in his head. I received tutoring from several sources and they couldn't even help. The math lab tutors and my recitation teacher seemed lost at times. WORST teacher!

Worst class I have ever taken. It was in IG Greer and I could never pay attention. He was extremely confusing and kind of nuts. Tests and quizzes were very difficult. The wording was confusing and I don't think they really relayed what we learned.

Feel free to take this class if you want to try to learn how to Analyze Logarithms by yourself. Taught in Greer so there are 300+ students in his class. There is no teacher to student connection. You essentially have to teach yourself. He does do everything on powerpoint, and has those online, but if you dont know what you are doing, they dont help

He is very unclear. He gives examples in class without answering them, makes really weird noises when he is lecturing, and is all around just a bad professor. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I usually enjoy math and perform well in it but in this class I'm barely passing, despite going to every class and getting tutoring from multiple sources. I even walked up to him with a question yesterday, he told me that I was close then wouldn't answer what I needed to do to get it right. My recitation teacher and tutor have no clue how to help
