I found this class to be interesting, and though some classes did drag on, I feel like I had gotten a lot out of it. The class is set up in a very routinely manner; a typical week included two lectures with a small, multiple-choice quiz on the third day. Questions on the quizzes were irrelevant at times, but were cake. 3 of 12 quizzes are dropped.

He is an awful professor. Rude, and never clarifies anything. Have a question? "Get a tutor". Doesn't provide enough clear examples in class. Asks much harder questions on quizzes than he explains during lectures. Not to mention he is boring. Doesn't provide any other resources besides his lectures and refuses to put them online.

Awful professor. Doesn't care about his students, doesn't let you make up quizzes no matter what, refuses to answer questions or be straight forward. Rude attitude, not worth taking a class with him.

If you have a choice, don't take this class with him. I don't think I have ever had a more useless professor. Only resources are his lectures (refuses to even put them online in case you missed class or for studying purposes, etc.). asks questions on the quizzes that are 10x harder than the examples he provides in class. in short: stay far away.

Does not let you make up quizzes. Teaches every class from power points which is fine but he looks up at them too much which makes me think he doesn't know what he is teaching that well. He is kind of boring but it is an easy grade if you study and pay attention.

Professor Bennett was horrible. Never lets you make up any quizzes NO MATTER WHAT (I got into a car accident the day of a quiz, I emailed him and explained what happened and he could careless). Never there to help you and doesn't care if you come to class or not. Take someone else for Geography!

Bennett was an excellent professor. World Regional Geography was pretty laid back. Quiz per week and he gives you notice so you'll be prepared for it.

Simple class, all lecture and notes. Usually have one quiz per week, all multiple choice/filling out a map (with multiple choice options as well). He drops the 3 lowest scores... If you have an A average you don't have to take the last three quizzes. He is not very open for negotiation, very set in his ways.

Well i'm not a big fan of the class but he's not too bad. He's a little weird but he has the best of intentions. The class really isn't that hard. I like the way he breaks it up. He has 15 units but only goes up to like ten.

He is pretty set in his ways. Not much of an open mind. Seems to favor females. Never answered my questions clearly, always let me more confused. Overall, if you need GARP101, take it with Marijoan Bull if you want to learn something. Take it with Bennett if you want any easy way out.

World Reg. Geog. was the easiest class in the world. I only went to the quiz days and just studied the map. Ended up with a B in the class though if i went to the class i would of easily gotten an A. Easy class

Tries to keep things interesting, and it worked for me. Use Google Earth for his maps, its much easier than the book, but sometimes its a little difficult to find things. He's great, the class is great, so sit back and enjoy it!

gives a quiz every few classes and as long as you know your map and know the key points of his lecture you will do fine.....map is easy if u do it and study it just have to be in class and pay attention to his lecture and you will be fine he drops lowest 3 quiz grades too which is awesome and hes pretty funny tells random stories

The class is very easy, 11 quizzes, 3 lowest dropped. He gives about 1 quiz per week and they take about 10 minutes. They are very easy if you go to class and do your maps, it took me about 1hr per week to fill out and study my maps and notes. the class itself is very boring and he gets offtopic a lot and may quiz you on it.

Not a bad class... in order to do good it is important to attend class. its auditorium style, he gives notes for 2-3 classes then a short quiz. Again, if you have the notes from class its not bad.
