Absolutely horrible man. He's also chauvanistic, giving complements to the guys about their accomplishments and reprimanding the girls. I don't think he really understands the meaning or purpose of teaching, or how to go about approaching another human being. He's absolutely HORRIBLE! Half the class failed

I agree w/ all the comments below. He is HORRIBLE at teaching. One time he told the class he didn't have an assignment graded because his daughter was in town. I wish I could make a similar excuse when I didn't have my homework completed and get away with it. Bentz, if you are reading this, nothing personal, you need to retire.

By far the worst teacher I have ever had. Quizzes and tests are impossible (avg on midterm was 59 and he blamed the students) Very unorganized, incredibly boring. So unwilling to help. Take Mark Smith..or anyone but him

Horrible! will not help students, lectures pointless. you have to teach yourself 100%! blames students for doing bad when the problem is his poor teaching skills! the class in completely unorganized! will not respond to your emails! grades are not done in time! AVOID HIM!

during class, he mostly reads what the powerpoint says and does a few problems but never explains clearly how he did the problems which leaves us students even more confused than before..and to make it worse he mumbles most of the time and puts half of the class to sleep in less than an hour

Class definitely sucks, But if you can stay awake for class he pretty much gives the answers away. He gives the formulas for excel assignments before they're due and he does the same in his office hours if you have a question. Overall the class is a lot of work, but definitely not as hard as other acct classes at FCOB.

I had him in the Spring 2005. He is very monitone and a stiff grader. He also mooves very quickly with the material. The only thing that saved me were access to the free tutors who were accounting grad students. It was also very difficult to get him to answer questions, he danced around the answer.
