He was the best teacher ive had!! He does tend to ramble (he is really smart, so its not rambling to him) but he has had SO many life experiences that he shares with the class. He is hilarious and doesnt take things too seriously. He is retiring after this semester, he will be missed!!!!

Has a tendency to ramble, but very passionate about history. Before I attended the class, I never payed attention to history and never liked it, but he makes you look at it in a different and interesting way. Test questions are given to you long before you take them, and he goes over them and guides you through the questions. One of fav prof so far

I had him for a civil war class over the summer and I loved him! He was always so helpful and was always interested in what students had to say. Overall, he was one of the best professors I've ever had!

He is a good teacher but also a hard teacher. I would reccommend him if you are absolutely sure you have a strong history background. He definitely knows and loves his history. Major problem is his rambles and doesn't really give direct answers. If take do EXTRA CREDIT!

Dr. Brockington is...unique. He attachs the study guide and the syllabus to an e-mail at the beginning of the semester. My suggestion is PRINT IT!!! It's hard to follow him. He's very liberal and very opinionated about the government. Easy A if you attend class, do the work and extra credit.

For an upper level coure professor, he's alright. He's pretty funny and very direct. He does get off subject but very interesting to listen to For grades it's all tests and papers. No reading quizes. He emails you a huge study guide that has all the test questions on it. Study the study guide and write decent papers, you can definatley get an A

he never stays on the topic that he's discussing. talks about off the wall stuff. when no one in the class answers his questions, he will start cursing the class out. the only way you will pass his class if you fail all of his exams is by doing the extra credit and do great on all your homework assignments! exams are killer!!

Difficult to get used to his "style" of teaching. Sense of humor hard to get used to. Make sure you download the study guide- the test quest. are almost word-for-word from it. Essay quest. based on HW. Gives extra credit, which comes in handy. Not too hard to make A in this class.
