Such a hard, boring class. Told us the final would be cumulative like 3 times then on the very last day said it wouldn't, which gave me so much less studying time. Went and talked to him about it & said he never said that, yet I have many people who will attest to it. Tests were hard Much homework. Just don't take it with him if you want some hope.

Yes, Wild Bill Conklin is a little weird. It doesn't make him a bad professor though. He will go over every part of the required material on the board, offers ample after-class and office-hours. Make an attempt to LEARN and not have it spoonfed down your throat like every other professor does, and you get an A. This is college, not high school.

i do not understand why people give him bad reviews. you just have to listen and do all the work he assigns! He is very clear on what is going to be on the test, very patient and helpful! I would definately recommend him, if you actually want to learn something, not just sit in the class.

I sat in the very front of the class and he likes to stare you down until you agree or say something. He is a very good professor,he even writes neatly on the board and is organized. He gives more than just test grades so it helps your grade but he grades the hmwks thoroughly. Overall ee was a really good professor as long as you work.

This guy is so annoying. He doesnt explain how he is doing something ever. Also he always has to be right so dont even speak up when you think he did something wrong because he will just pretent like he didnt hear you or say he is right....somehow. He thinks he is better then everyone else. You are better off staying home and teaching yourself.

I will never understand people who say anything negative about prof. Conklin. He is one of the most helpful and understanding professors I have ever had. His requirements are absolutely clear. Although he likes to challenge his students, he doesn't do it just to show how great he is, but because in Stats work has to be done to learn the material.

the person who says that people who rate this guy negatively do it because of not doing work is way wrong. i am a solid A student and did every single homework assigned and just cant win with this guy. he is by far the worst teacher i have ever had. the material is really easy but he words tests to try and trick you.

Pretty good professor. These other people who negatively commented are dead wrong. Hes a nice guy and he tries hard to make sure you learn the material. The people who complained about him must have put in zero work so what do you expect? I would recommend him!

He is very smart, He has a good attitude most of the time, but look out when he gets mad. He does not mind humiliating students durring class to make a point. He uses illustrations well, but often does not have enough time, and rushes through the material.
