I going to be taking my second class with him next semester because he left such an imprint on my education I couldn't not take another one of his classes. I hated reading, but he made it fun and interesting with insight on the readings you wouldn't have thought of. He does give a quiz every class based on the reading, but if you read they're easy.

Engl 180 was my first class ever at Marywood, and instantly fell in love with the campus because of Dr. Conlogue. I'm an English major and I've taken a total of 4 courses that he has taught, which is the most for any professor at MU. He knows a lot of info and truly cares about his students. He has changed my life in more ways than I can spell out.

I've never been a big reader but I loved this class! There's a quiz every day and as long as you do the readings you'll easily pass. There is also a lot of class discussion and if you take notes it will make the exams so much easier. He is extremely intelligent and helpful so if you have a question just ask!

Excellent teacher. Most of his books are pretty interesting so reading isn't a problem (if you like doing it) but, you must read when he give you assignments. He knows what he's doing and is a genius so if you need help, GO TO HIM.

Dr. Conlogue is a nice teacher. He gives out a lot homework to read books, but at least the books are interesting, well most of them. He is willing to help students improve as long as you help yourself first. Attend class regularly because you never know what will be on his exams!

Excellent Teacher, highly reccomended. Reading is necessary, he gets into the book too far in depth and asks silly questions, but he has a great admiration for literature and i would defantly take him again! His in class essay tests can be difficult if not prepared before class, but participation and quizzes make up for that.

I have him as an advisor. The man has a brilliant mind. he knows what he is talking about and helps you a lot. He is an accomplished writer and when you have any english questions, he is the man to go to. He is very fair and listens to you with understanding but he isn't a pushover by any means. only neg thing: too quiet when he talks.
