I had Prof Foster for 2 classes already and am taking a third one with him now. He is the best English teacher and possibly the best teacher in general that I've ever had. He's extremely smart, funny, and will help you if you ask. Highly recommend!!!

Professor Foster is a great professor, he has a great sense of humor. He is willing to help you with any of your writing and it will be sad to see him go. I wish I had to English II and be able to take him again

I had Professor Foster for English 102 and sever Self Defense Classes. Not only is he my favorite teacher at NVCC I would rate him among the top reasons to attend the school. More then charming , more then funny, more even then brilliant, he is caring and kind. He even takes criticism well, which is quite rare in an instructor.

I enjoyed Professor Foster but his lack of ability to clearly define the work he is assigning can be a bit confusing. He does not give an A even if it is earned. That can be frustrating. He goes off on stories that have nothing to do with the class, while some students enjoyed it I would work on my assignments until he got back on track. Great guy.

He uses his class to boost his ego and if you don't do it he won't take a liking to you. He isn't clear with assignments, takes days to respond to emails, and has a vulgar sense of humor. Isn't really helpful when you have questions. had us get a book we never touched. take someone else.

Prof Foster is by far the best English teacher I have ever had. He is hands on, interactive and makes the entire class feel like a family. He has an infectious personality that will only make you smile. BUT YOU NEED TO SHOW UP, he will not give you assignments outside of class, so make sure not to skip!

He's an awesome teacher. Just a really cool guy all around. He makes jokes all class and his class always goes by the fastest. It's true, he's not that clear on the assignments he gives, but make sure if you have any questions about an assignment, ask him the first day its assigned, or the next class. After that, he WILL embarrass you.

I had Mr. Foster for my journalism class and he was beyond awesome. He made the class extremely interesting and we always had great discussions. He brought our class together to the point where we felt like family. I highly recommend any class that he teaches because he simply makes the class worth it.

He's very unclear unless you ask the most specific questions. Yes, he is a hard teacher and he expects you to do your best, but that can be a problem for students who struggle. He loves what he does and he is a decent teacher, but I feel his ego is through the roof for a community college. If you're a hard worker, you'll enjoy him... Maybe.

Best Teacher I have ever had. Teaches you communication skills needed in every aspect of life. Foster was able to connect to his students in a way i have never seen before. He teaches you about friendships, relationships, interviews, how to pick up on body language. This teacher really cares about all his students and will never forget about you :D

He's somewhat unclear as to what he expects of you, so you're confused a lot. He's a bit vulgar and sometimes talks to students in class about stuff that has nothing to do with class at all. He gives a lot of work, but that's normal. He EXPECTS you to do extra credit, and love literature. I don't recommend him, unless you have no choice.
