Bill is one of my favorite professors ever. He's funny and he really cares about students that are serious about theatre as a craft and an art. An excellent tech mentor and now a friend, I loved taking this class. If you're not serious, this class will be brutal because Bill hates slackers. It's very easy as long as you respect him.

Bill is fantastic and understands that school is tough. He makes the class very easy as long as you respect him. Once you're rude, however, you're done. He's an amazing tech mentor and a hilarious man. Highly recommend his classes.

I took him for the winter semester, so the class was shorter than usual. Honestly, if you actually pay attention, the answers are literally in the notes he gives. Copy them down and you can use them on the test. Group project acting scene at end was really cool. It is almost impossible to get less than an A in this class. Really nice guy.

I took 103 for winter session which is short so I don't know how he is during full semesters. In my opinion, he was a good teacher and an easy class. Did give a few extra credit opportunities. We did one play in the end of the semester also. Mostly just see plays and write about them. The book isnt needed he gives notes you can just copy and study.

THE easiest class you will ever have and the most fun too. Be prepared to paint so make sure to bring clothes that you won't mind getting dirty. Book isn't really required but it is a life saver if you ever happen to miss a lecture. Professor is super cool so don't be afraid to ask him questions. Expect math equations! Just kidding this is theatre.

This class was by far the easiest I've ever taken. We were very hands on with all the lights which is the best way to learn especially if you're a visual learner like myself. Lectures can be long, but will be useful when its time for the quizzes he gives out & the Final. Easy A & no book was used for this class.

Not an acting class. Lectures about plays and shows video clips when appropriate. You'll do one group skit that you present the final week. Tests are easy, he gives you a packet of notes with everything that's going to be on the final.

Easy but can be boring. Covers everything in class but he is going to stop teaching theatre 1A soon. EASY A, just remember all the information for test, mandatory to see plays and mandatory attendance. Two papers, 1 written script and two test for Fall 2012.

Only taught at the beginning of the semester and left due to injury. Before he left he was a very passionate and knowledgeable teacher but would occasionally go off on tangents in class.

His summer class was REALLY BORING!Everyone fell asleep in his class. Just take notes and memorize them because the tests come directly from the notes. He does give you the notes 2 days before a test so you can study them and you'll do well. Easy class, just really boring!

Class is easy, very easy if you show up to class every day, go see the plays and write the papers. Tests are easy, he gives you notes to study, which is basically the test q's. He makes you buy the book, but you don't really need it. Overall class was ok, although I kind of got the sense he doesn't want to be a teacher anymore..

Prof. Georges is very knowledgeable in his field. He is also very funny. Lectures are on the projector to copy. notes are available for use on QUIZ ONLY. Some questions on tests are quite tricky. Be prepared to write 3 essays and have 1 major group project. My suggestion: go to class every day and study his lecture notes. the book is not needed.

Professor Georges was the best teacher I had this semester. Friendly and easy going but is no pushover either. Very knowledgeable of theatre history it's almost freakish. If you can't pass this class then somethings wrong with you. All the answers on tests are in PPT slide in which he gives you a copy. I barely read the book and got an A.

To the comment below: I'm currently taking his theater 1 class and we have never been able to use our notes in class. But regardless, I think the class is fairly easy. He lectures, gives you the powerpoints a week before the test, and then the questions are straight from the slides.

Very good teacher! Lets you use notes for all your tests. Gives you points for participating in class; sometimes for just showing up! Very understanding and considerate.
