A great Professor. I was a bit apprehensive about having to take another English course. I was dead wrong after this course. Professor Hayes is a well-versed individual, and intelligent teacher. I would strongly suggest him for English. His approach for paragraph structuring within essays helped me beyond measure with my essays.

Great learning experience ! Very nice and smart way to teach English. All the expert advice is there, just ask. Very flexible with students, understands circumstances. I highly recommend Prof. Hayes for English classes. Engl 135 has a 15 - 20 page research paper which seems overwhelming - but his technique makes it easy to do. He is the best English teacher on campus, I only wish I had taken his class for Engl 227!

Well this was easier than ENGL112. Basically he looks to see if you wrote your papers with basic correct English (no fragments, correct punctuation, etc.) Great guy and professor, I will take him for anything he teaches, and so should you.
