Comment:
I took Bill's Futures course in the mid-80s; it is shocking how much of what he said then has already transpired. There is not a week that goes by that I don't think about this course or make a connection between two seemingly unrelated ideas stemming from seeds he planted long ago. Along with the late B. Carr and H. Yang Design, one of the best.

i love this guy, but i will say 1 thing... he knows so much that he sometimes doesnt know that students arnt following. Even when interupted by a question, he'll respond with info that doesnt seem to be related. i think he assumes that studnets know the history behind the subjects he talks about... great professor whether ur into theory or not.

By far one of the best professors I have taken at Pratt. He has the ability to push you outside of the box. He shows you where to begin and then expects you to find your own direction. I took away invaluable information and ability from that class. I highl

William Katavalis is one of the most charming professors in the entire school. Take him. As most teachers whine and complain if you do something wrong Katavalis takes every opportunity to discover as much as he can about your life and about the world.

Very interesting class. You will hear a lot of his opinions, and views about this world. Generally 3 easy projects to hand in. Loves female audience and great listeners who asks questions a lot. Easy grade. Worth taking him if you want fun with theory.
