I had him for two courses in the same semester, his classes are very lecture heavy with only occasional visuals on a overhead projector. There is a big paper at the end but he can guide you in the right direction if you meet up with him. Overall loved his class even if the reading and paper exhausted me.

I had this guy for two course in a row and, although he can be slightly boring, you can really learn a lot in his courses. Bill Kerr is one of the brightest guys in the whole university and I highly recommend taking one of his courses in Ancient History.

He can be disorganized but overall his enthusiasm for the subject makes up for it. In 2 of the 4 classes I have taken with him there was a major delay in receiving the syllabus but he still keeps you well informed on important dates and readings. Pretty easy marker, really just midterm, final, paper, and the map test in all his classes

One of the best history professors I've ever had. Firm grasp of the subject and displays enthusiasm. The prof does not ask the class questions but his lectures are excellent. I recommend this for anyone who wants to LEARN.

I found him really disorganized! I took him a month to get us our syllabus! Really nice guy though and a fair markers (except for the map test, which was just dumb!) He really knows his stuff, but I found classes extremely boring.

I love Kerr... He makes everyday bright. Though I'm fairly certain that I appreciate him in the same way I appreciate the Teletubbies. He's the type of thing you'd expect to find in a Happy Meal and trade with all your friends. But he IS brilliant.
