I was worried about taking this class because i suck at math but Lammers broke it down well enough for me to understand. I'm use to getting Cs in math classes but i make As and Bs on his tests. Attendance is important but cause he doesn't put formulas in the power points and you'll do practice problems in class. I highly reccomend taking him.

Dr. Lammers is an ok teacher. If you are not good at Stats, I would suggest getting a tutor or making an appointment with him. He does examples in class and makes sure we all understand but, the test is nothing like what he taught and he words the questions weird. I would not recommend taking him for stats.

I love Dr. Lammers! Stats can be difficult to grasp, but he does a good job of explaining it. During lecture he'll give example problems and make a point to check on each student to ensure they understand the material before moving on. (Also, I made A's on the tests by rereading the chapters and redoing the homework on Aplia as a study method.)

Get your own understanding on the subject bc this dude won't help. Tests aren't as hard as they are convoluted. Desperate for students to see him for outside of class help. Class seems like a fun little game for him. Humor him if you want an A. Don't rely on hw as point heavy as it sounds. He manipulates points so .5% matters in the end. good luck.

Dr. Lammers is alright. Definitely not my favorite class, but it was tolerable. Lots of study guides and papers to write. There was not much insight or direction on the research proposal, which made it really hard. Overall, I would take him again if I had to.

The way he teaches class is different. There are no tests, but he makes the class very interesting. He makes it easy to understand the topics and I feel like I know what I'm talking about in that class. I would take him again for sure!!

The way he has the class set up makes it really easy to get what he is saying and really understand the material. I had never taken a statistics class before and found it really easy while others struggled in it, but he really will work with you and go out of his way to help you in any way he can. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lammers is a pretty good lecturer but the tests are insane. The tests are only 33 questions but are worded completely different than the test. Received a 96% on homework for the whole semester and was involved in class yet I never made above a D on tests. Will not curve or give give extra points even when the class average is a 64. DO NOT TAKE

Dr. Lammers is passionate about what he does. The tests are very concept based, so memorize things doesn't work well. You have to know and understand to apply what you have learned. But he is always there if you need help! He is very approachable and an incredibly sweet professor, I would take him again in a heart beat.

You really have to study for this class. I've had friends take other professors and fail. He's the best for psych stat. Study some every day and go to his office before tests and he will really help you understand the material. Very nice guy

Very helpful. Don't be afraid of math, its not that difficult, and there no need to memorize formulas. It's mostly concepts (raise sample size does what?) Aplia is helpful to understand difficult concepts. All his tests are 33 multiple choice, but don't think they are easy, he can word things in a tricky way. Final was cumulative and 50 questions

Dr. Lammers is really incredible. He uses really great software for the homework, the best I've ever used. He's so sweet, understanding, and helpful, as well as hilarious. I would highly, highly, highly recommend taking his classes. I hope to have the opportunity to do so again. Class is optional other than tests, but they're fun.

No lecture, work with your group and do your research. Paper is due in increments with a final copy due at the end. Not many points available so try to do your best on the sections. He makes research interesting which is great! I recommend 100% (especially over Nail... don't take Nail... ever)

Horrible teacher! Stats is already a really hard course because math, but Lammers did nothing to make it any easier. Very hard class. went to his office hours for help and he pretty much told me to figure it out myself! After that I gave up. He wasn't willing to help me at all and it was very depressing. Take with someone else.

Psych stat is not an easy class, but Dr. Lammers was a great professor. He teaches well and is always willing to help. The homework is online, and if you mess it up you can retry each question a couple of times for a better score. Make sure you study for his tests!

He is a very entertaining professor. I love coming to class. He usually lectures during class with excellent power points and applies concepts to daily life examples. We do take a lot of online quizzes and do learning curves which is a lot of work. Tests are difficult, but he is more than willing to go over your test with you. Tests were my problem.

I thought Dr. Lammers was an excellent teacher. His teaching methods are exceptional. If you are willing to think conceptually then you will do great! The homework was challenging, but if you have questions he will answer them for you! One of the best professors I've had!
