Easiest class ever. Don't buy book. You can search for the answers online. The class is all about your opinion about simple things. Don't care, got an A, & Ill get my diploma. The information he provided for assignments was lacking in clarity. The sheer amount of extra information allowed the actual assignment to somehow get "lost in translation." You never knew how you were doing because there was no feedback and grades were NOT returned in a timely manner. No grades in a timely manner, dropping the class is a gamble.

His instructions are very poorly written, they include way too much "fluff." I've had to email him in regards to EVERY single assignment so far and his responses are one line sentences which tells me that he is uninterested in doing his job. Thank God these MPA classes are only 7 weeks. Not a good teacher please AVOID if you can! Uggghhh!

Took this as an online class and I had to drop it. I'm a 4.0 student but was failing this class because my reading/comprehensive skills aren't that good I guess. You read directly from the book then quiz & test over the chapters. If you aren't good at applying what you read you'll fail.

Dr. McLean does expect you to think. He can grade a little tough; however, he is one of the best professors on campus. He has a good personality. Some may be offended by what he says, but he is just saying what others are thinking. Take him every chance you get.

His class discussions were interesting if you enjoyed talking about topics irrelevant to the class. Plus, he always walked into his own class late and acted like he had somewhere better to be. His idea of a study review is to tell us to review the 6 chapters the test covers. He didn't give any direction. Do not take if possible!!

Apparently you shouldn't take him for aweb course, but in class, he is fine. He doesn't really talk about much during his lectures, but they are amusing nontheless. Eventually he will give a VERY helpful review for all his tests. Do your work, come to class, study what he gives you for the tests and this class will be a breeze.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR THE WEB INTRO TO US GOVERNMENT! The assignments are ridiculous and the tests are insane! Gave an 18 page study guide with 100 questions and only 10 were on the test. Tried getting ahold of the guy and never spoke with him. LAZY.
