Comment:
Professor Munro is fantastic, and he is definitely my favorite of all the polisci professors. He is a very charismatic guy and hilarious. He is not a tough grader, and he will usually give a study guide for exams and if you complete it then getting an A will be no problem. His lectures are heavy, however, the material is very interesting.

Professor Munro is a great guy, but his class is pretty boring. If you pay attention and read, you should pass the class just fine. His lectures are very dry. Try not to fall asleep.

Prof. Munro is an amazing professor and an all around great guy. He is so smart and his brain goes a lot faster than how he can formulate his thoughts, which is way the lectures appear unorganized. He is also really helpful one-on-one in his office hours

Munro taught my Gateway class and I was one of the few freshmen who loved her GW! The subject is interesting and is his passion so he is able to engage students. I also really enjoy his accent, let's be honest. He's a little disorganized but otherwise a great professor.

This was one of my favorite classes this semester. Munro was always passionate about what we were discussing, which made me want to get involved. He grades papers tough, but fair. You as a student need to be on top of reading or assignments because he will never remember to tell you. I highly recommend a class with him!

Dr. Munro is engaging and fun. His class was very much discussion oriented. Students would lead the discussion and he would guide it. He is a fair grader and an interesting guy, and my class, which was about chocolate, has been my favorite so far.

Munro is energetic, passionate, and very intelligent. I could talk to him for hours outside of class, however, in class, he lacks a clear direction or structure, which makes it difficult to follow.

I had my gateway, The Politics of Protest, with him. He was a good professor, but I hated the class. It was decent though because he is a funny guy and a pretty easy grader.

Extremely helpful. If you do not understand his lectures, talk to him while he is in his office. I had trouble studying for a final so I e-mailed him for help. He ended up taking my number and calling me while he was in New York for a conference just to tell me what to study. I don't know many other professors who would do that. Great guy!

Munro's a really nice guy just not a very good teacher. He knows a lot about the subject, but has a hard time explaining things. He talks really fast, so it is hard to follow him. Plus, his mind must be going to million miles per minute because his subject matter jumps all over the place. The class is really poorly structured.

He's a great guy, my advisor. He can be flighty and confusing at times but there is always a method to his madness. Take good notes and review them, and keep up with the readings. He is very brilliant and a pleasure to talk to.

His accent is great and he is a very smart man but he is ridiculously confusing. Luckily he hates the American grading scale and grades the way it would be in England, a 75% is a B+

Brilliant man, but should not be teaching. It is impossible to stay awake during his lectures, and the readings he assigns are innapropriate for the a 200-level (more like graduate-type stuff). Never again...

BORING class....prof has mannerisms of a coke addict and handwriting of a blind person...Hard to know what he is trying to convey to class and actually grasp material seeing all you have is 2 tests. Falling asleep is almost inevitable in his class.

May term in South Africa. Amazing class. Large research paper due at end of summer, reading assignments daily during trip (but eventually no one does them). Several fun debates during the trip. A great class.
