TAKE A CLASS W HIM!!! literally the easiest class I've ever taken and on top of that he is just hilarious and that keeps students engaged. you really wont regret taking a class with him, especially SOC 150. he'll be your favorite teacher and a good GPA booster

Solid class, pay attention in class and it's one of the easiest you will take. Stick with him though, sometimes his analogies can go way off topic and you can lose track pretty quickly. Gives a lot of extra credit and his tests and essays are always spot on with his review sheets. Awesome class overall

Skipper is an awesome professor. The lectures can be a bit dull, but he always tries to keep you engaged. He gives 4 quizzes, 4 1-2 page essays, a midterm and a final but everything is super easy if you put the effort in. There are 2 extra credit essays and I got 5 extra points on the midterm for showing up to the class before break. No attendance

William Skipper is one of my favorite professors! I had him for SOC150 and loved him so I took him again for SOC335. The course was a lot of writing- a weekly paper, in addition to 4 essays throughout the semester. The midterm and final were both take home essays as well, but Skipper is a pretty easy grader & offers extra credit! Easy A if you try!

cool teacher. only 4 test so make sure you study and do well because thats basically what your grade is based on. textbook is helpful to study for tests. he gives a study guide which is helpful and some extra credit is given so definitely do it. overall funny guy and would recommend taking it. pretty interesting class

I took this class on a whim to fill my credit requirements and I'm so glad I did. He's eccentric, has funny and interesting stories relating to our discussions, and gives you plenty of extra credit opportunities on his tests (not that you'll need it). By far one of the best teachers I've ever had.

He is a great teacher, he is animated so you don't get bored. The class is supper easy, you get a review sheet for every exam, and tests aren't cumulative. However, his notes can get a little disorganized (writes all over the board), but he is very enthusiastic!

Hysterical. Great lecturer, keeps students engaged and doesn't hesitate to crack a few (sometimes hilariously inappropriate jokes). Seriously doesn't care about attendance- I almost never went and got an A. Kind of a hard grader when it comes to papers, though so watch it. Take him.

Excellent teacher! Easy tests, easy papers, doesn't take attendance. He also gives MANY extra credit opportunities. I got a 111 on a test! You should show up to class, which isn't hard because he is very energetic and funny. If you need to fulfill a GE and are looking for an attainable A, take this guy.

Easy, interesting class, awesome, funny professor.4 tests/multiple choice, 4 two page papers. Doesnt take attendance, papers and tests are easy, just study, not really necessary to use the text, the reading book is necessary for the papers. Take this professor!
