William is SUCH a sweet man. He was so kind to me, always willing to help! The class itself is very boring but I've had worse. Pay attention, read his slides and you will be fine! 4 tests, lowest dropped!!

Comment:

Slattery is a nice person who belongs in a third grade classroom and not a college classroom. He explains concepts clearly and as though all his students are in third grade. Each simple concept takes him one or two hours to say. It makes the class super BORING. He is not organized and plays favorites. Avoid him if possible.

Dr. Slattery is very nice, helpful and his enthusiasm helps the class not seem so boring. He can get a little carried away at times and tends to get off subject a little, but he's an easy grader and the class isn't bad at all.

I met him when he hosted a grad-level field trip class that I needed to graduate. He was cool, funny, and obviously LOVES the subject he teaches. He even offered to help me out (with advice and forms) if I opted to go for my Master's. Really liked him!

This guy is totally cool. The last review was probably from someone who can't comprehend the how enthusiastic the geology profeesors really are about geology and teaching overall. He cares about his students and is one of the best in the department.

He is arrogant and on a power trip! Avoid at all costs.
