INFO 160 is very easy as long as you study, it seems like common sense but its not.I procrastinated and took the exam as late as possible. I didn't study until the day before and day of the exam and got an 89. DO THE SELF TESTS and watch the video on a subject if you aren't sure about it. Its not a breeze through but it is easy

Go through all the modules one time the week of your test and you'll easily pass. If you are not very good with computers might as well schedule for an early test and have an opportunity to retake. Mrs. Andrews seems to be really nice from the few interactions I've had with her.

This class pretty easy all online. Just look at the modules and nothing else for the excel class and you will pass. Do the modules a couple of times so you know how to do everything. Also watching the videos may help. The exam is 40 questions and no multiple choice. Everything is from the simulations.

Online course which is pass or fail. She gives you two attempts to take the final as long as you take the first attempt before a certain date and you must get above a 40 to retake the test. Study the modules and you will pass. Make sure you memorize the formulas because they wont be on the test provided.

The test is exactly like the simulation so you have to do it, however it is really hard because of time. You have 60 minutes to answer 40 questions each with a few different commands. Take it seriously and it shouldnt be too difficult. Definitely make sure to take it before Nov 9th because she allows a retake and you might need it.

Since its an online class you don't have to go anywhere except when its time for the exam. Do the modules at least 2 or 3 times well before the exam date!!! I did them 6 times each and did fine. Sign up as early as possible to take your exam and get it out of the way! Don't wait last minute!!

INFO 160 is an online class so you don't really get much interaction with the professor only on your exam days. But she's a sweet women from what I can tell. STUDY for this exam, INFO 160 is all multiple choice, and the questions come straight from the self tests. I had too take a second attempt, but passed the second time. Tedious class

She teaches the online Info classes, you only see her in person when you take the exam. You need an 80% or better to pass the test and the class is pass/fail. Even if you receive a 79% she will not let you retake the exam, so then you get to retake the whole class.

Pretty simple online class. The first exams start in early October and you'll get extra credit for doing them early. She sends lots of lengthy emails but they contain everything you need to know. Don't even bother taking the exam without doing the modules. Watch the chapter videos the day of exam and you should pass with no problem.

INFO 165 is an easy A. super helpful in life. All you need to do is watch the videos 1-2 times then practice the modules until you feel you've mastered it. Exam looks exactly like the modules just with different #'s and scenarios and its in random order. I failed the first attempt passed the second time with a 95%! Take exam ASAP don't wait lastmin

Info 160 was my toughest info class, 2/3 of the questions were unlike those in the practice tests so the videos are the most useful. I actually failed my last attempt on this test by 3 points, but she passed me anyway, which really made my day.

These are online classes and you should study very hard for them. INFO 160, you should use the help decks and end of review quizzes. She is the best teacher at VCU, she send many emails to you about the online classes. Get the INFO 16X Courses out of the way. I passed INFO 160, 161 and 162.

These are online courses that seem super dumb while doing them but as long as you pass the exam with an 80% you're good. Do the modules or else you WONT pass. I suggest getting them done early and taking the first couple of exams to get the course completely out of the way. Also wouldn't take more than 2 a semester.

160 is more difficult b/c the exam is multiple choice and not a simulation. So study textbook, & do practice problems. 161 & 162 were SUPER easy. Practice the simulations, its JUST like the exam, and easy pass! Very clear instructions and don't wait to take exams! There's only 2 tries & she gives extra credit for early birds! :) Knock it out early!

She is really good at communicating throughout the semester (deadlines, requirements, etc). Sign up and pass the exam as early as possible. Do the modules and that is ALL. Twice through if you need to, but honestly once is sufficient. Pretty much the same as INFO 160-165.

Alright, as a business major you will NEED to take INFO16x courses. You may have the option to knock them out elsewhere, but I recommend just doing the modules and passing. You MUST purchase MyItLab for these courses. It's $116 through the school and you won't be able to even take the exam without access. I just finished my INFO160/161 courses and they were a breeze. I am positive the other classes are similar. I practiced the 161 (it's just MS Word) modules over and over again three days before the exam and got a 100 on the exam. If you are relatively familiar with Word, I wouldn't worry too much. I prepared a little less for 160 and still passed with a 82.5% my first try. I only did the practice exams for each chapter, as well as the 'Help Desk' portion and the 'Sound Bytes' review. Andrews is a very forgiving professor even though you will not interact with her much and offers extra credit to those who attempt their exams early in the semester. There is also a second attempt available if you try and fail the first time by a certain date. My recommendation is to just sign up early for those extra credit points, read her e-mails, practice the modules and be done with it!

gives us modules you got to do. Do the modules at least 1 to 2 weeks before your exam day. Just start out playing them the first day you get access to it. The class is very easy, you got to practice it a lot to retain the information. She gave us extra credit chances at the first of week to encourage us to get this class out of way to pass. eay 100
