A grandmotherly professor. Very nice and willing to help. Involves the usage of many hands on activities and tests are okay. Gives many opportunities to improve your grade with graded homework assignments that may be revised a number of times, and easy projects. Takes attendance daily. All in all, a fair class.

I had her twice. She is nice. But treats everyone like they are going to be elementary math students, even though most students take her just for a math class. Her projects make you feel like you are a third grader. She doesn't do or say the smartest things sometimes.

Dr. Peterson is really nice. She can be kind of spacey from time to time and she's a little hard to understand. Your grade will suffer if you don't take the class seriously (like me). If I applied myself even a little bit I'd have an easy A. She'd be my first choice for math teachers.

That last comment is completely FALSE!!!! I had her for MAT 103 & 104, and I have her now for MAT 105. She is very understanding if you go to her during her office hours. She might seem like she doesn't understand in class, but she is completely different in her office.

I had Dr. Peterson for MAT 103, and I liked her so much that I took her for MAT 104. She is a normal, nice, caring professor. She does give bookwork, but it is not mandatory. She gives these "write-ups" that go along with what chapter you are on. Now these write-ups are exactly what the PSSA math prompts are. Her tests are ok, just study :)

Had her for MAT103 and liked her so much, I took her 104 class. All kinds of helpful strategies for teaching and a really nice lady to boot. She wants students to succeed. There is some work involved, but that just makes getting a good grade feel better. I'd highly recommend her.

i was hoping i would have had Przydzial for this class, since i had her before and loved her. however I really like dr. peterson, she was my advisor and she was SO helpful. i really couldn't have asked for a better advisor! i recommend her!

amazing teacher...she really explains things so you understand...she is a professor you should take if you had problems in math your whole life...very approachable and going to class is a big plus for her tests are right out of the notes...(if you dont want to go to class...why did you come to college) overall she is a great help and a nice lady.

She is the best professor ever!She is so dedicated to helping the students and trying to get everyone to succeed. She really knows her stuff and she gives great notes..make sure you keep up with the homework, take notes in class and you will be fine. i hated math in high school but i did well in her class.

She is such an awesome teacher. Make sure you buy the book because she expects you to do the homework. She gives 10 point assignments and they are very easy and if you get it wrong you are given the chance to correct the problem and the tests are not that bad. She is a very nice person and goes out of her way to help her students. Take her!

I thought Prof. Peterson was a good teacher. She was very helpful. She gave us great ideas for the classroom. We were always busy in her class doing activities. Some people found it easier to take this class in the summer so they wouldn't have such a load during pro sem.
