The prof tried to talk to people in the class but the class was so painfully boring that nobody ever had anything to say. I don't think it was his fault that the material was so dry. He had some great guest lecturers. The final was fairly easy. You should print out his power point slides because everything you need to know is on the slides.

soooo dry and boring, it is impossible to follow whatever he says. not really is fault, since the course was on institutions. nice guy, and very helpful when he's actually in the country or in the classroom, which is more often that not.

it was pointless to go to class. lectures were dry, he read off his ppt notes which you get a copy of anyway. courseware was only 25 bucks but was totally unnecessary and he was unhelpful . also, for those of you against turnitin, he makes it mandatory and his reasoning for it is a joke. total mistake taking this class...

This is possibly one of the most boring teachers at SFU. Never came to class prepared, Read off his own overhead noted for hours, unresponsive to questions, general lack of interest in students.
