If there is another section of SCI 101 with a different professor, switch ASAP! I am a 4.0 student and I struggled to get a "B" in the class. His tests don't align with his rambling lectures, when I confronted him about this he said that he "expects us to learn something new as we take our tests."

Comment:

McKenzie is an interesting person. You can tell he's seen a lot and really loves science. His class is pretty easy, though sometimes boring. The tests are pretty hard though, however you can get average grades on them and get an A/B in the class if you show up and participate otherwise.

Exam did not match up with the class instruction. I remember some totally ridiculous questions on the exam, that had absolutely nothing to do with the class. I teach high school foreign language, but he was asking about software titles for elementary school (relevance????) This was my only B+, A in everything else. (his fault of course, hehehe)

pretty easy class if you can listen to his lectures and take notes. He gives completely open book, open notes, open internet tests, so if you take notes on the stuff he says, you'll see it on the tests

Very hard class. Very hard teacher. Doesn't explain things. Expects you to already know what he is talking about. Very hard tests. Nothing on the tests makes any sense.Doesn't show you how to do the experiments.
