Dr. Zhang is a great professor for Complex Analysis. I recommend students taking class with him because the questions from the review are similar on the exam and gives you study and you are allow to have formula sheet for the exam. Please go to class and get plenty of information that you do not want to miss. He breaks down in detail in class.

He is by far one of the best math professors I have ever taken. Breaks down everything and builds upon it for a thorough understanding of the material. I would take him for all of my math classes if it were possible. Look no further, this guy is the man. He's like Jackie Chan, except he professes math instead of martial arts.

This class isn't the most difficult, but Longs teaching is very fast paced. Sometimes he went over 2 sections in one day and gave a lot of homework. He helps simplify things so its easier to understand. He's just very fast so it hard to keep up with 3 other upper division math classes.

I took differential eq. with him this summer. He is a very good math professor. He writes every step on the board. His lectures are very informative. To get a good grade in his class, you have to do the assigned hw (even though it is not mandatory). His exams are just like the hw, the final is little harder

Dr. Zhang is by far the best math teacher I've ever had. He's very clear, writes all the steps on the board, goes in depth with everything, and he's naturally just good at explaining things. HW's were not mandatory but you should definitely do them. If you can do the HW's, the quizzes and exams are a piece of cake.

Great professor! He explains things very well, goes into "why" the math is the way it is, instead of just making you memorize the steps to do something. His tests/quizzes are very fair, if you pay attention to his examples in class and do a bit of HW. This guy obviously is passionate about math AND teaching it!

I liked this guy, he is clear and makes sure you learn. But he is INCREDIBLY FAST. If you closed your eyes for 5 seconds he has done a problem already, it's hard to keep up sometimes and I have fallen asleep at times too. I think his tests are fair, do your HW, study, go to SI, even the learning center above in the GS building and you should be ok.

Great professor! My advice is to attend class everyday because a TON of his examples from class (that are not online) he uses in his tests! A lot of people only show up for the tests, I don't understand them! Let's you use a "formula" sheet on every test. Gave 2 EC quizzes. Good guy overall!

Mr.Zhang is soo funny! he's super adorable because he repeats himself a couple times and he is always rewriting his work to make it look correct. He's also great because he cares about if the students understand or not! no book needed!! just buy it online! he's awesome! i'm still in the class & i have always sucked in math so i'm excited to do well

Great professor. I'm horrible at math and I still managed to pass with an A. there are 4 tests and mymathlab which is easy. he reviews before each test and you can use a cheat sheet. he also gives e.c quiz that can bump you up 5 points. TAKE HIM!!

Got an A in the course, great teacher. Explains very well, gives extra credit and test reviews, very general with partial credit. Just a very great teacher overall. I heard the math department at FAU isn't so hot so definetely take Zhang if you have to take Methods Of Calculus. Show up to class and actually try, you should easily have a B or an A.

Zhang by far one the best math teachers I've had. I hadn't taken a math class in over a year, and still managed to get an A. Very easy to learn from, although he does have a slight accent. Pace is great, and almost gives too many examples. For summer there were 3 test. He also reviews for test right before them. Take him.

i took math for liberal with a different teacher and i did not pass so i had to retake it but thanks to zhang I was able to pass this class with a a its amazing how much the teacher really effects the student if you are taking him for any math class do it!!! also gives you chances to get some more points for a higher grade!

Its easy at first but gets tough. Has an accent but not to prominent. If you're taking him for calculus, go to SI. He gives out plenty of extra credits, like bonus questions on tests and bonus take home quiz. He goes through chapters very quick so studying on your own is a must. Must have some type of math knowledge if you want to do well.
