Comment:

Dr. Cheng is the best professor I have had for any subject. It's a lot of work, but you'll come out of the class knowing the material really well. Her care for her students is obvious - she takes just as much pride, if not more, in her students' achievements as the students themselves. I highly recommend her!

She's a great professor. When she teaches she is very joyful and her examples of the material really help you understand the topic more in detail. The one thing that you have to watch out for is that she doesn't allow notecards. You have to memorize all of the equations and formulas.

She is a WONDERFUL professor. She's brilliant and it shows. She knows the material inside & out and if you show her that you're willing to work hard, she'll bend over backwards to help you pass. In fact when my entire class needed a little boost, she made up a huge extra credit assignment to help us out. She's great!!!

You get use to her accent after the first couple of days. The way she teaches is geared more to helping you as a student learn the material rather than just going over it. She cares about her students and will take the time to help you out in her office if you are stuck on a problem. Her notes are printed out so you can take more detailed notes.

She's got an accent, but she is excellent at demonstrating problems on the board. Although she assigns homework every class, late penalties are light. Gives solutions right after every quiz or test, and the lowest quiz score is dropped. Does not post grades online, so you'll have to track them yourself.
