Prof. Kim is the best professor I've ever met in university! He makes lectures interesting and relaxing.. He teaches not only the language but also the Korean culture. Sometimes he shares his own stories with us :D If you want to learn something, then go to every single lecture and tutorial! Getting good marks is easy if you work hard!

Professor Kim is one of my favourite professors I have had in University. Attendance is mandatory only because how he teaches (especially grammar) it is tricky to find elsewhere and his textbook, though it gets better each semester, doesn't teach everything he does. One problem is he only tells you when your midterm is pretty much two weeks before.

Teaches straight out of his $17 textbook. But even so, you should attend class because he makes it super enjoyable! I picked up Korean so quickly because of his teaching method "Act like a baby because I will teach you like a baby". Repetition is key in his class. Taking Korean 102 with him next term just because I can!

The god himself. I cannot help but utterly respect this man. He is inspirational and truly has a great character. He is the best professor I have ever had which is ironic since I am a math student who happened to be taking this course.

Professor Kim is so laid back with his 202 students and I only wish I could take more courses with him :) If you attend and participate in his class, it's an easy grade (you just have to get through 101, 102 and 201 first).

One of the best profs I've ever had. Leaning a new language is only about memorizing but he does not only TELL you to memorize, he HELPS you to memorize with various methods and actually made the class lots of fun!Be sure to be in his tutorial section and then you can learn a lot of life stories XD

Best professor there is for languages. He teaches a lot with his own personal stories which makes the class fun. I have taken all the courses by him and wish there were more Korean courses offered.

His courses are not hard at all as long as you catch his random lessons because he gives you a lot of the structures, but not all of them. The class atmosphere is better after 101 because I feel like people either do very well or very poorly in the 101 class so a lot of people are around the same level if they continue after 101.

Best professor ever. He is so nice and helpful. His antidotes in his lectures are funny and makes the lectures even more interesting. He may ramble on and scatter about in his lectures but he is really nice and his exams are easy enough. He genuinely wants you to pass and have a good time while learning a lot.

He's one of the best language professors there is at Renison. You can definitely learn properly from him and will enjoy it at the same time. He often tells stories when he's teaching and that is what makes class fun. I have taken 101, 102, 201 and will proceed to take 202.

I had him for 101 and 102. He is one of the nicest profs at UW. He will take time to help you learn everything you need to know about Korean language. He is very personal and will help you with anything you need. However be forewarned although he is very nice and accomodating there is a lot of content you need to learn in his class.
