Probably the best professor I have taken at UC Davis. Always on time, lectures are sometimes entertaining and often provides examples from her life which makes everything more understandable and funny. Respectable and cares a lot for his students. So-so readings, one paper, in class midterm, one article critique, and one take home final or project.

shes amazing and so inspiring. so damn helpful and very clear. easy A if you do the work. she doesnt want you to just study and stress you out but she wants you to actually learn so that was very helpful. I wish she taught other psc classes as well because shes an amazing professor.

Yvette is a wonderful professor. She is very funny and she gives personal stories as examples which helps a lot. There is on paper, one midterm and a take home final. She is very clear in what she is looking for. There is a lot of reading but it's interesting. Take her class as soon as possible because she keeps mentioning retirement.

Professor Flores is one of the best on campus. I would recommend going as often as possible because she talks about stuff that is not on the slides. The worst part about her class is that her Smartsite is SO UNORGANIZED! It's hard to figure out what lecture is what. Easy class, interesting material, a lot of small assignments. Overall, easy class!

Professor Flores is an activist, intellectual, mental health clinician, and a very pro-student professor-- unlike most at Davis. I regret not having taken her courses earlier. On a side note, Yvette, Sergio, and Angie are the best people in the Chicana/o Studies Dept. Very inspiring individuals.

yvette was so great! definitely a favorite professor, and she was so good in lecture. the paper assignments were really easy, and her TA for our class (javier) was very helpful with grading. he was good looking, as well! i would definitely take another class with her.

Prof was okay. She's never at her office hrs though. Class was interesting but the TA who does the grading is an ass (will kaufman). Who counts #of incorrect comma usages and deducts it from your grade? It's not even an english class! Isn't content more important than a few grammatical errors?

I absolutely love Dr. Flores. her classes are all so interesting and she really reaches out to all her students. she is very approachable and helpful. The readings for the class are interesting and the lectures are entertaining. she has a teaching style that dones't put u to sleep. i recommend her!

She was one of the best teachers I've ever had. She is very knowledgable in her filed and was very accesible to her students. Her classes are fun and insightful, especially the family psychology class. I didn't meet very many students who after taking one class with her didn't end up taking all of the classes she taught.
