He is a tough professor, and if you take him be prepared to work for a good grade. He makes you a better engineer. It might be hard at first, but he is pretty good at explaining topics again if you don't get it the first time.

I know im giving this guy a lower score but this was honestly one of my better teachers. i have taken him for every Engineering course so far and i am a better engineer because of it. He expects you to do the homework and participate in class. His tests are just like his homeworks so they are pretty easy to study for, if you do the homework

Worst professor EVER! Wish this guy would hurry up and.... retire. Old man is disrespectful, rude, and could care less if you learn the material or not. I hope he reads this too. Fails half the class even though we showed up for tutoring. Accent hard to understand. In short, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Ask a lot of questions and pay attention in class and the material becomes a lot easier. If you do the homework and do a lot of studying for the tests then he isnt that hard. Remember the participate in class or he will not grade you as well as youd like.

Very difficult professor. I would not suggest to anyone to take his courses. Not that he is difficult but rather unfair. Had him for both his Statics class and Lab; found extreme inconsistencies in grading. Grading is unfair, having an entire section not receiving any grade higher than a "C" all semester. Stay away from this professor.

He is very hard for those who dont do the homework or study for the tests, but if you do both of these then getting an A isnt too hard. He always has 3 tests, a final, and usually 1 or 2 labs worth 10% each. He is a fair test grader, but grades labs hard.

Forgot the class number (so ignore the number) I took from him about 20 years ago. I did not appreciate his class. Now that I am an engineer he thinks and acts like an engineer and a good one. Point here is that he sounds effective for engineering students.

The class is hard because he assigns homework every day, and its 3x a week. It doesn't take that long though, and he always goes over it the next class. He's alot of work but you learn alot and it pays off. Tests are not too bad as its from homework and sample problems. 2 projects a semester are very annoying though. Take him if you want to learn

Going into the class I though it would be horrible.It was not at all. 3 tests and a final were all very fair and no problems were very hard. Some test problems were from the hw's.People dont like him because there is hw everyday and you have to get it right.1 question=1 point to a test grade.Also memorizing the equations annoys people ,but DO-ABLE!

Really hard grader. Rude and mean to students. Talks on his cell phone in lab Unclear on what he wants in the labs. You can work very hard and write a 20 page lab report, fix all the mistakes you made on the previous lab and he will find new things that are wrong with it every time and give you the same grade. Effort is not taken into account.

This guy looks and speaks like a Russian nuclear scientist. He is a very intelligent man who just happens to be a perfectionist. It is extremely difficult to get an A in his class, but he rewards effort and interest. You will work your ass off, but you will learn more than with most other teachers.
