If you are just trying to get this course out of the way. She isn't completely terrible. She didn't use the text book hardly at all. She isn't good at communicating. She is hard to understand. I had multiple test I should have gotten less then perfect grades on, but she couldn't see the errors. I don't know how you can learn like that, I can't.

Comment:

Not an engaging professor. She was often short on material and sometimes she even told us to make up our own questions to answer. I lost interest in the class quickly. She will allow you some leeway with assignments. The tests/quizzes are on PAPER!(!)... twice as many computers as students, and we wrote queries on paper.

As long as you know what you're doing, Khan hits you with an easy A. CS is a complicated topic and Khan does well to explain terminology, syntax, and common errors. Tests aren't multiple choice, rather you're given a set of instructions and you have to build a project (the way it SHOULD be). She's very lenient in her grading and will work with you.

Good teacher. Comp Sci is a very hard subject so it can be hard to grasp it making it even harder to understand the professor. But if you pay attention in class and even go to her office hours when you need help, she helps a ton. If you put in your work and interest she'll put in hers toward helping you.

She's very sweet and nice. Classes go a little fast but if you ask her to slow down she will. She has a lot of office hours so if you go to her she definitely will help you. I hate VB but she's an awesome professor.

She is nice... She will help you with whatever she can. Tests are really easy or super hard.... Make sure you print out a copy of the code after each class to help you study. The book is worthless.

Very lenient grader, but is not helpful with questions, the language barrier makes listening to lectures and asking questions difficult and frustrating, and it's very easy to fall behind. She often makes blatant errors and usually fails to correct them for a substantial amount of time, causing you to receive constant coding errors.

Not a particularly good teacher. She misses the point in many of her lessons and often makes glaring errors when trying to explain anything mathematical. She's a relatively easy grader though, and is more helpful in person. If this is your first programming course, you will learn a lot.

she's a good teacher, very helpfull. sometimes the subject can be dificult to understand but as long as you study and practice you should be ok. test give alot of partial credit so thats always good. I had her for VB1 &2 and database design. had and A in VB 1 C+ in vb2 and im currently in Database and i should have a B .

Easy teacher to just take the class and get an A in. If you want to learn tho, she is not ideal due to she doesn't know the information other then what she has to teach. But a easy and nice professor that is willing to try her best to help you and get a passing grade. Never seen her fail anyone.

Easy class, she was a nice teacher most of class was struggling so she gave them extra credit, Test are easy due to the fact they are the same as the homework problems. Basically every day I went to class the student were on Facebook... THEN complain that they cannot get the material. Just stay off Facebook for 50 minutes and listen to the lady! Easy as that. She is willing to help and meet with you during hours. So you take the time to do that. I recommend printing out the code for that day, everyday.

Horrible teacher, but the class was ridiculously easy. All I did was screw around on the internet each class and still got an A. Material was easy but she still taught it poorly. Would hate to have a semi-difficult course with her.

by far one of the worst professors ive ever had. She rushes through lessons, her accent is terrible, she just writes on the projector and you copy. She excepts you to know everything from the bat, the textbook was a waste of my money. I definitely regret taking this class. If you need help she'll assist you but it's not worth it. tests=brutal

Terrible professor. Hard to understand, impossible to find on campus bc never in her office hours, if you do find her doesn't care to help you. Moved very quickly. This is supposed to be the easiest computer class for people with no programming experience but I recommend taking it with a different teacher!

She really cares about the students...which is good because the material is extremely difficult unless you already know how to program. Almost everyone failed the first test, but she let us re-take it..overall her explanations aren't the best, but she will try to balance things out by grading leniently. Only take the class if you know programming.
