He gives extra credit, and a review before each test. Study this review and you will always make an A! He will deduct grade if you miss more than 4 times. Just go to class, take good notes on lectures, do the super easy extra credit, and study that review and you will come out will an A+. Seriously, TAKE THIS CLASS! Awesome guy to learn from.

This was the easiest class of the semester by far. He's a great guy and the topics are easy to study and understand. His TA basically gives you all the test reveiw answers and there are no othef assignments to worry about other than tests. Hes also big on extra credit. If you do a short 1 page paper on the topic he asks you get 10+ added to ur test

Super easy class. He counts off points on your grade after you miss 3 classes. He gives you a review and it is exactly what is on the test. I rarely ever took notes in class and basically just studied the review.

His lectures are boring and slow, but the class is super easy. Before each test he gives you all the answers to the true/false questions and on the test he gives you all the formulas you will need. He even lets you write anything you want on an index card to use. As long as you do the homework and know how to use the formulas, you'll be golden.

Do not buy the book, he even tells you on the first day of class not to. He is very helpful, and very clear when teaching. The reviews are just like exam, just different numbers, gives partial credit, and allows a note card for each exam, including final.Also gives extra credit. However do not miss a class, it's math, it's hard to catch up.

He is a very helpful teacher. His test format is all the same: 50% lecture 50% book reading (so the book is required). The lecture part of the test is very easy. His lectures are very simple. Notes are difficult to take because he does not put very much on the powerpoint slides. So make sure to write down what he says.

Stay for the review the class right before his test. The TA is literally reading the answers off of the test, making the tests so easy!! Class can be kind of boring at times, but you do learn a lot! He docks you grade points after four absences.

Subject can be difficult and confusing. However, he does a great job of giving you the formulas and explaining in detail how to solve them. Make sure you attend every review session. The TA does a great job of letting you know how to solve the problems on the exam!

Very detailed in class, and the TA does a review before every test. He really liked multiple choice tests, and offered a possible 10 points to every test, with fun and easy assignments (a short essay over full metal jacket for example). I really enjoyed this class.

He is a great teacher. At times you don't understand why he's telling you something but it ends up being extremely helpful. The TA gives a review the class before the test. STAY FOR IT! What he tells you is word for word on the test. He's a great teacher and if you are taking 1301, he is a great choice.

Very easy class and teacher. the review is the test, not hard at all. If you go and take notes you'll find he is really interesting. He brings in lots of polls, graphs, etc. to emphasis his points and they are pretty cool. Easy A

I can't believe he's still there ! I was taking his classes back in the early to mid 90's, starting with a basic class for a social science. Next thing I knew I took everything he offered and I got a minor in Sociology. The other Sociology prof's classes I took paled in comparison. Thanx Dr. Roberts ! Your classes were hard, but I learned a lot !
