The lectures were ok, but he doesnt go over everything thats in in the hw and quizzes. The misterm was hard! So be sure to study a lot. He wasnt very helpful when I asked ?'s, he just said, "you should know that already".

Blay is the best professor I've had at UCR. If you got a bad grade in the class, you probably didn't try. You get points for attendance and participation, so you have to speak up in class, which isnt bad. Just answer the questions or ask questions. It's great that he gets the class involved with his lectures. His quizzes were almost identical to hw

Prof Blay is great. He knows accounting and even more important, he can teach it. Accounting is hard and you do need to put time and effort into this class like all other accounting classes.

Blay is the worst, wish him not to teach again and again. i passed, but i cannot believe all i have done for attendance, quizes, test worth just C-, where my friend didn't do anything and got lower score on quizes, attendance, test but suck up got B+ cuz he has stupid participation point.

Very nice professor. Class is easy if you don't ditch lectures. Make sure you go to class cause he counts attendance. Quizzes, midterms and final were very easy as well because they were very similar to the homework materials, so just do your homeworks and you will get an A for sure. I added myself late into the class and still came out with an A+.

maybe big class like 20b, he is okay. but. not in small group class, bus 165B. the worst instructor that i ever had. attendance is mandatory and his boring lecture were fine. i could take that . but i could not stand for the way he grade participation grade. all people who sit in the front get full credit even if they don't say anything.

Allen is the best! I had a seminar on cheating cheaters who cheat and he was fantastic! I surprisingly learned a lot from him. He is very nice and I came to class just because I did not have a mean professor. Learning is so much more fun when your teacher is enthusiastic about what he teaches!

BSAD 20A was pretty easy. U can figure out the hw from his notes/book. examples makes the material pretty clear. Online hw helps a lot that u can try many times to get perfect score, and you actually learn from doing it over n over. tests are similar to hw Qs. need to go over hw Qs or it will be challenging.

lectured from reprographics packets and did a bunch of examples in class with clear explainations. what really helped IMO was the online homeworks. He gives 3-5 problems every week for you to do with unliimted retakes. This way you will get instant feedback and learn what you did wrong. fully understand the homework and you'll ace the class.

This class is comparably easier than his intermediate 2 class (165B). The only difficult thing may be the cases (randomly assigned groups) that he gives out. Hope for a good group. Also, his exam for this class is on a HUGE curve b/c its hard (165B had no such curve). The final is a take home final, and he gives you 2 weeks to finish it.
