Her spanish 101 class online is the most time consuming college course I've ever taken. There are so many assignments due everyday. It will take you 1.5-3 hours every day to finish them. I spent less time on Anatomy and Physiology. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She has ruined learning foreign language classes for me.

I took her Spanish 101 online class, and let me tell you, she gives so much homework. Online homework is everyday for about one hour to two hours each day. She isn't clear about the oral interview dates or sign up sheets for that. So yes, you will have to do an oral interview online through Skype with her. I still don't understand basic Spanish.

This class is very easy online. There is an assignment due everyday, but it only takes up a small portion of your time. She is a great professor and gives grades back in a timely matter. You do need to purchase the code for the class, that is how you access all of the assignments, quizzes, and tests.

It seems like some of the other comments on Ana are harsh, if you do your work and try hard you should get an A in her class. I took Hispanic Cinema with Ana and if you want an A I would advise taking it with her as well. We watch the movies in class and then go over the homework as well. At the end she will eliminate two bad quiz scores too.

She is all over the place in her lectures. She expects you to have homework done for each class but randomly chooses what homework she wants turned in that day. She expects you to spend tons of hours to study for her class that is out of the ordinary and her test are really hard. Be prepared to study your life away and maybe you will pass.

Nice lady, terrible teacher. Her expectations are far too high. Homework every night. Quizzes every other week. Exams once a month. If you ask her a question in English you will need to explain yourself 3-4 times or she will not understand you. She will lose your papers and then tell you that you never turned them in. Miss 4 days and you fail.

Very frustrating teacher. She does not post any grades to FerrisConnect and expects you to calculate your grade yourself. at the end of semester, you need to know your grade on final exam. but she does not respond to email. It's part of her job to explain her grades but she doesn't care. She should retire.

If you never took Spanish before don't bother, even if you did you're going to struggle. She expects you to understand her when she speaks Spanish and writes everything including directions in Spanish. She also gives you 2 seconds to finish the in class work and when you have a question she laughs. Always asks "si o si" (yes or yes). don't take!!!

she untaught everything my 4 years spanish had taught and expects you to just know whats going on when she speaks in spanish well beyond the course lvl. she constantly asks the class if theyre done aftr 10 seconds, "si o si?" yes or yes? how is that an option? I have never been more frustrated with a teacher in my entire life. Ana is terrible. She believes everyone took her Intro class so she doesn't go over what is supposed to be "review." I just came out of high school so I obviously didn't take her other class. I ask her questions in class and she never has an answer. Ella es un mal profesora!!!!

Horrible. I took 2 years of Spanish in high school and did very well. She jumps right in without teaching you simple words, writes all of the homework in Spanish as if you know what it says. Interrupts you repeatedly before you can even get out what you are trying to say. Expects a TON of work.

Great professor! She's very fun, very knowledgeable, very helpful. She works hard for her students, and expects you to do the same. Very helpful and friendly, but class moves VERY fast. Is understanding but has a bogus attendance policy. classes 4 times aweek and you can only miss 2 times a semester. ridiculous! but offers some help, extra credit, etc. she will help you if your willing to work for it.
