Dr. Hodgkins has been my favorite professor in college. She made the material so easy. She was my first class of the day and it made me look forward to school. Not very strict and allows group work which helps.

Comment:

I took the 5 weeks long class of MAT151 during the summer. She explains everything very clearly and step by step, and if you are not a lazy student and do your part, there is no reason that you should not get an A or at least pass the class. Tests are exactly like the study guides so there are no surprises!

She's an amazing instructor, she explains step by step. She has a Texan accent. Lessons are by powerpoints, you do a lot of hands on in class. Book isn't needed, but you do need to purchase math assign (online) in order to do homework. She makes math look so easy. I completely recommend her especially for those who have trouble with math.

Dr. H is by far the best teacher at Phoenix College. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about the subject, but she is passionate about her student's understanding of the material. PC, Dr. H is one of the best! This is not an easy class but she gives you all the tools necessary to pass. Study guides cover everything on the exam so there are no nasty surprises. HW is on web assign and is 20% of grade. For the last month of the semester she opens up web assign so you can catch up on missed assignments. Make life easy take DR. H

Highly recommend her if you are not that good at math. She is great at clarifying.There are times when you may get behind, but you do so many group activities that it will just click.Accent and vocabulary she uses keeps you entertained.

I have her as my Calculus teacher. Calculus over all is a difficult subject but she is extremely helpful. I can see she really loves her job which is probably why she is so friendly and kind. She really cares about the students. I recommend her!
