Amazing violinist, great teacher, very friendly and gets me lots of paid gigs and students to teach as well. Her Japanese accent isn't too thick, understanding her is easy to me.

hard to understand, EXTREMELY DISORGZD. says one thing, does another. random, pointless class w/ no direction. learn nothing relevant to the class. unless you already have a strong background in music AND brain/science, don't take this class. waste of time, never know what's going on. worst class i have taken in ucf. stay away or u will regret it!!

Yonetani is the sweetest woman, don't get me wrong, but she cannot teach ear training and sight singing. The entire class was failing so she had to curve everything. It was her first time teaching the class, so she may improve, but I didn't learn ANYTHING. Everything on the final we never even learned before!

She is an extremely talented player at a high caliber so it might be a little scary at first. A long as you work hard and practice your violin or viola at least 10 hours a week if you a music major you should end up okay. Other than that she is very funny and has her own sense of cuteness.
