ENGR106 was the most demanding courses I've ever had. Don't let them lie, its a weed-out. This professor will help you understand the material, but not in lecture (need to attend); only if you approach him with specific problems at office hours or after class. I hated the class he taught, but Dr. Bob by far stands out as a top teacher at Purdue.

ENGR126 (formerly 106) is ridiculous!!!!! The lectures are not very helpful for the homework, the lab, or the exams. It pisses me off so much! And Dr. Bob spends way too much time screwing around with the CPS instead of actually teaching something useful. I just slept through lecture yesterday since whatever he was talking about was so pointless

He would be a good professor if he didn't sit there at try to scare and threaten you the entire time. He did alright with going through the material. He did like to go on tangents. He did have a problem with making the homework and test problems extremly hard. i.e. Firetruck Problem. The problems took at least 6 hours a week for 2 credit hours.

Not a bad Prof. for Engr 106, though he would regularly go off on unrelated subjects. Exams were fair as long as you studied. (*NOTE* I took this course Fall 2005, when the projects were removed). Complaints: the homework takes forever and you only get 2 credits for the course!
