Mr. Main is so nice and helpful. Lots of homework and quizzes and tests, but it helps keep you on track. Yes, his jokes can be corny, but at least he tries. Watch him closely because sometimes he does make mistakes, but we usually catch him. This class was tough, but I'm glad I took it with him. It could have been a lot harder. Take Mr. Main!!

His jokes may be corny but sometimes he is VERY funny (he points out how sexy math is). Even though he talks fast, he is very fair and helpful so you cannot complain about him. He is a very dedicated instructor (he comes to class even when he is sick). Overall good teacher.

I don't like math. I did bad in math in high school. And Calculus is hard. But I was one of his top 3 students in the class. Proves that he is an excellent professor. Just make sure you know how to do every single homework problem because tests and quizzes are basically same problems but with numbers changed.

---He says the corniest jokes and lamest things. Constantly makes mistakes when doing his lecture on the board. Seems to not like to answer many questions and gets irritated if he cant understand you. Grades quite hard, sometimes assigns hw problems you didnt even need to do. He knows the math but that doesnt mean he can teach and this guy cant. Those who give him a great score dont have much pronlems with math but if you do, prepare to fail his course.Dont take him! he's a really good professor, and a nice one too. very clear on his lectures, and extremely helpful. he dropped 3/4 of the lowest test and quiz. if u plan to go on to 5c and 55, take him 'cause u will understand all the materials.

quite possibly the worst math professor at PCC. makes a lot of errors during lecture which confuses the class 80% of the time and tests have nothing to do with concepts learned in class. dont know what other math classes he teaches, but dont take him for math 5a. out of 27 students, only 9 stayed after half the semester, rest dropped out.
