I transfered schools and still compare my fine arts teachers to her. She is probably one of the best I've ever had. She's positive and encouraging. I respect her to death. If you want to learn photography at UCCS, take Carol!

Carol is a great teacher. She is approchable, and knows her craft. She allows students to find images they like in a loose outline of the class. The class does take time and effort on the part of the student.

Carol is one of the best Professors ever. In Intro, she focuses on giving her students a good basis in Photography, showing how to make good (not always the same as "artsy") prints in various styles. In Intermediate, she allows students to pick their own subject matter and be as creative as they want. Great personality, hard not to love her.

I use to love Carol's classes, but then on one of my finals she belittled me in from to the whole class and I haven't taken a photography class since. She really turned me off of photography. And just because I showed a little creativity instead of going completely by the book.
