I understand summer is accelerated. Yet this teacher takes it a step beyond and slams students with the concepts that he expects be memorized and mastered within a 24 hour period. Quizzes every class. One exam for the whole semester and it's the final. His lectures are horribly dry and confusing. Avoid this class don't make the same mistake as i did

Some people say he's boring but if you're not interested in the subject, then it doesn't matter how interesting the prof is because it'll be boring. His tests and quizzes are straight forward. He answers any questions. He is nice. The class isn't too difficult. He explains concepts behind problems. Do your work and you'll do fine. Don't slack.

Really enjoyed Prof Huffman's class. He writes everything he says on the board which is really helpful! His class is really boring, but he's a nice guy and if you have questions he does try to answer it as best as he can.

This guy is the worst professor I've ever had. On multiple occasions I came in to get help during his office hours and he wasn't there. The homework is hard only because what he teaches you in class doesn't match what the homework questions ask you. I worked really hard in his class, got me nowhere. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Huffman is the toughest Math Professor in Loyolas Department period. The man will break your spirit if you dont perservere. Tests are hard, Quizzes are impossible. Homework is barely doable. His most famous quote "I will teach you how to succeed, by failing". Now you go ahead and choose your fate?

Class was easy and so were the tests. I took AP Calc in high school though so if you are new to Calc, he might not be the best route to take. His lectures consist of frantic writing all over the board at a fast pace. Really nice guy and no surprises on the tests so long as you can keep up in class. I'd go for it and take him if you pay attention.

He is a very monotoned, boring speaker. As such his class becomes very dry. His lectures tend to be unorganized and the way he teaches concepts is hard to grasp. In addition, the exams are hard. But he is helpful when you ask him questions during office hours.

He is a very dry teacher. He has very boring lectures and most of it is useless information. His tests are difficult because of the way he presents his questions. Another thing is that the hw is insane but to do well in the class you have to do. There are a lot of bonus points on the tests but I would not recommend him but it is a passable class.

very boring teacher, spends lots of time going through proofs that will be pointless on the exam. examples often have no relevance to material we are tested over. However, he is a lenient grader, puts bonus points in every test and quiz, and is willing to try and help however possible, even if the help is kind of confusing. overall, not toooo bad

He is straightforward both in lecture and on tests. It really just depends on how well you understand calculus. The online homework sucks because it takes forever to enter mathematical stuff into the computer and the online homework is much harder and different than anything else he teaches.

He was a good teacher. Held extra office hours before tests and quizzes. Online homework is tough but you only need to get 90% to get full creit. NOT hard to get 90% at all since they are worth 500 points by the end. TAKE HIM! He made calc so easy. warning though: not the most interesting. I recommend you sit in the front inorder to pay attention.
