Such a great professor! Very caring for her students and wants to see them do well. Attendance is mandatory and the class can get boring but if you put the time in you will definitely get an A.

This class is based on making sure everyone feels included, however Dr. T doesn't allow that to happen because she is always correcting your beliefs as you say them making you think you are wrong as you explain. The class drags on. Attendance is graded, and assignments are graded to what she wants, not what you believe.

She isn't as bad as these reviews make her seem. Class is common sense, you should do fine as long as you show up, pay attention, and submit your assignments on time. Pretty easy for a 400 course. Sometimes she's preachy and overly politically correct, but she's sweet and would go out of her way to help as long as you ask. Grades attendance.

Not an awful professor; the class is cake if you just show up and go along with everything. She's EXTREMELY liberal, and as someone who considers myself liberal I can say she's a little too liberal. She worries about offending everyone and I think that kind of takes away from her being a good teacher. Overall, easy class and she isn't awful.

I'm really confused as to why Dr. T has so many negative reviews here! I see that she used to teach Fine Arts, maybe she wasn't a great professor for that? Anyway, I have her for Multicultural Education and I think she's a really sweet lady! The class is a piece of cake, basic common sense stuff. Lots of group discussion. Not a bad prof at all

Terrible professor. Takes forever to grade assignments and does not give accurate feedback as to what could have been different. If your views aren't related to hers in the slightest bit she grades you poorly. Avoid this professor at all costs.

Multicultural Ed was a joke. If you didn't agree with her, your opinion is wrong. She feels she's above everyone else. Basically, just go along with her to get the grade. She assigns papers that may be only a couple of pages long, but you barely have enough information to write one page. I did not enjoy this class at all.

Wonderful person and teacher. She really cares about respecting her students and corrects herself and apologizes if she thinks she offended anyone. Great multicultural teacher, very educated in her field.

The class is a joke. I'm glad they're getting rid of it. It was a waste of time and I don't feel like I got anything out of it. Terwilliger can certainly be all of the negative things people are saying but she does have nice moments. She also took points off of someone's grade for not having their book on the first day. Crazy.

She's not the best at clarifying assignments and she lets them sneak up on you BUT You do the work and keep asking questions you'll do fine! You'll get an A or B. She likes participation and you can't miss her class. Grading she can be picky, just be detailed.

She never greades assignments! You never know what your grade is. She gives way too many assignments for summer session and assigns them one day prior to the due date. She is not clear about what she wants and you pretty much have to write your papers according to her beliefs and opinions! AVOID HER!
