Dr. Johnson is one of the best professors I have ever had. She is so caring and understanding. She is very experienced and diverse in her knowledge that she is invaluable. She is not only my professor, but I look up to her as a mentor. The only way I could see someone not getting along with her is if they are disrespectful or unwilling to work.

Dr. Johnson is a very inspiration woman! She has lots of experiences and stories that relate to what you learn. Although a lot of this class was more opinionated topics it really opened my eyes to what is important in life. A lot of group projects and class participation. She can be a tough grader but she is very good at giving feedback.

Dr. Johnson is experienced in what she is talking about, but does not teach effectively. At midterm, I cannot tell you anything I have learned. She is a tough grader too.

Dr. Johnson seems very nice when you first meet her, but HOLY COW she is the teacher from the Black Lagoon. She never knows what is going on in class, and then docks your grade because of her own mistakes. She does not explain a syllabus or procedures so you're on your own for that one. And every assignment is a huge group project beware.

Dr. Johnson is a super nice lady, but when it comes to teaching, she is very traditional. Most classes consisted of lecture and "discussion". She is very vague and follows what is written in the rubics strictly. The tests are impossible; thankfully, she curved one because everyone did bad. I am a straight A student except for in her class.

Dr. Johnson is a very nice woman, but I can't say I learned a whole lot from this class. It was fairly easy and you can definitely get a good grade, but it's not very beneficial. She is also very vague with her directions, which makes you miss points unnecessarily. Overall, not a bad class, but the course could definitely use improvement!

Celia had no idea what she was talking about! I only heard of one student liking her or the class. This was a waste of tuition! B. U. needs to clean house.

Dr. J is a VERY nice lady, very helpful when asked a question. Tests are not based on lecture, also not based much on the reading...Not sure where questions came from.

Dr. Johnson is super nice, but she is the only teacher I can not get an A with. It is hard to even get a B with her sometimes, because she is such a difficult grader. I get all A's minus Dr. Johnson's class!!

Dr. Johnson is very disorganized. This was the first semester she taught ETE 330 and she was very unsure and unclear about the assignments. She's bad about handing back grades. Very nice lady and she loves to talk and tell stories.

I took 4 classes with Dr. Johnson. She is amazing! This was one of the only classes that I got real hands-on experiance from. She really cares about each and everyone of her students. I wish everyone could take her classes.

327- The class has nothing at all to do with the actual title of the class....while she is extremely helpful and cares a lot about her students, test are extremely hard, and you rarely know what she is assessing you on!

There is too much role playing. We did it nearly every day, so it got pretty boring. Dr. Johnson seems like she cares about her students. The class is an easy A if you follow her directions.

I had Dr. J for 342, which I loved. For 325:no instruction on phonics, & the test is worth a large part of your grade.Exams were misleading and required regurgitation of text (wasn't she opposed to that kind of assessment?).This class gave me my only 'B'(89.4) in the program which did not reflect my efforts AT ALL.

I had Dr. Johnson for 342 also, and she was a great professor. In 325, the exams were very very difficult, & only 1/3 of the class passed the phonics test (no instruction in phonics was provided in the course; you had to learn it all from the back of the text). The projects are practical and fun, but our class' grades did not reflect our efforts.

This was a very interesting class with excellent books -- hope they don't ever change them, they are some of the best texts I've ever owned. Dr. J has some really interesting stories and an effective way of reaching students. Didn't care for the tests too much, strictly essay, but you learn A LOT in her class.

Dr. Johnson is one of the best teachers I've had at Bradley - she cares about her students, and is committed to ensuring that they become better teachers. She has high expectations - do your best and you'll be fine. The material in class is very practical!

Dr J is a nice lady. She has a message to get to students but takes an unusual route to deliver. Lectures are ok. Tests are ridiculous b/c they have nothing to do with subject covered in lecture. My advice= memorize all written material. If it seems impossible, it is. Nice lady, ineffective insructor

Class is utterly pointless, but that's not her fault. You can tell she cares and wants students to succeed. Some days can be dull (in ETE? Never!) but a good professor to take if you can squeeze it in your schedule. Tests are a breeze.

Dr. Johnson sincerely cared about her students and the material she was teaching. She gave good examples and told valuable stories. I learned a lot in this class and will actually take a lot away from this class. I feel this is the first class i have actually learned anything in. Take her if you can
